Dalyan Resort & Spa

This hotel was lovely and friendly , we booked it on a friends advice and were not disappointed The bedrooms were appointed well and the bed was perfect for my wife as she was at least 3 feet away from me LOL The staff were attentive and could not fault them at all The food was excellent and the breakfast in particular as they would take time out to explain some of the dishes and cakes on offer , most of the cakes were homemade and the carrot jam was unbelievable , the bar staff were excellent as were all of the staff the Spa was good and would recommend it Cannot wait to go back either this year or next year

This is a tranquil and beautiful hotel with well kept gardens in a gorgeous location. The beds were awesome and the spa facilities were lush. Try the Turkish ( haman). The rooms were comfortable and quite well appointed. We had some of the best nights sleep with the bed being so comfortable. The dawn chorus was impressive with the local bird life. The only down side to this place is the breakfast, which was sub standard. A distinct lack of fruit and the real option was eggs (fried/ omlette) via the one saucepan which caused quite lengthy queues. Fruit juice wasnt included with the breakfast ( that was chargeable to your room at 55 Turkish Lira per glass). Any coffee or tea after breakfast was also charged together with Water. This place would be off the chart if they sorted out their act. Thank heavens for the local restaurants and bars. The best kebab in Dalyan is Hamido. Simply amazing.. La boheme is a lovely restaurant with incredible views of the river and the cliff tombs. The people were so friendly and welcoming. We cant wait to return...

GORGEOUS SITUATION ON THE RIVERSIDE LOVELY STAFF ALWAYS HELPFUL AND CHARMING. GOOD FOOD- FRESH AND OFTEN ORGANIC BEAUTIFUL GARDENS AND POOL . ALWAYS IMMACULATE ROOMS SLIGHTLY DATED. NEED A BIT OF A FACELIFT

The hotel is great . I had such a relaxing week at October half term. A big thank you to all the staff for their hard work. Loved the breakfast staff and the table train! . Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast outside in the sunshine was such a treat. The housekeeping staff and pool staff were really kind. Omelette chef was brilliant .Mr Riaz was very helpful and kind at reception running a great team of staff. The spa staff were absolutely amazing . I had the best massage ever from very skilled staff. . Ms Elif the spa manager works very hard and the whole experience was really relaxing. I had a lovely girls week away with my mum. She enjoyed the whole week too. A little piece of paradise, beautiful weather too. We’ve booked again. Can’t wait. Thank you all.

Beautiful area with lots to do, food great, people friendly and welcoming, stayed here 3 times and will definitely return one day, nice relaxing holiday. Only a short trip from the airport, nicest place in turkey we have been to, we stayed at the alla turka hotel it's very nice with lovely pool and food was good, lots of restaurants and shops , also really nice boat trips to the sea. And if like history well it's everywhere.

If you enjoy large, sterile hotels, with 5 restaurants, a pizzeria, and chips with everything, plus activities thrust at you on the hour, then this is not the hotel for you. This is a lovely, peaceful, Turkish hotel, with fantastic locally sourced Turkish food, with a delightful Turkish chef, who kindly shares her recipes. The hotel is on the banks of a river with boats going by, little pontoons with sunbeds and a boat service to the beach twice a week. If you want to go another day tell Riza at Reception and he will arrange for a boat to stop for you. You can take any boat back from the beach, (there are signs). The trip to the beach is about 35 mins through the marshes. Beautiful. It was about £3 for 2 sunbeds for the day and there are toilets and a cafe serving very reasonable food. NB This is not a commercial beach. The turtles come first. You can walk to the turtle sanctuary but its about 5km. Alternatively a taxi ride from the hotel. We tried a number of riverside restaurants for lunch in Dalyan town, (a 15 minute walk), all were excellent - and we saw a turtle! You do not getting hassled in town. And if you are lactose intolerant there is a stand selling lovely goats milk ice cream. The pharmacy is at the very end of town near the turtle roundabout. Kaunos- take a right then left out of the hotel and walk past a lot of chickens. Take the car ferry across the river and then walk for about 10 mins up a small hill past the lady selling pomegranate juice. Turn left for the ruins, amphitheatre, roman baths etc and right to see the rock tombs. To get back, a rowing boat near the rock tombs will take you for a few lire. The setting of the hotel overlooking the river and rock tombs is magical, Ali, Riza and the team are helpful, and our rooms on the first floor had everything we needed. There is lots to see if you enjoy exploring or maybe even a bit of fishing, and the Turkish food is fabulous and plentiful. We hope to be back very soon and thank you.

Dalyan Resort and spa is a haven of peace and Tranquility in paradise This is my third visit here! As a retired profesionel gardener i though id died and gone to heaven The gardens are amazingly beautiful ! The gardeners do a great job ! As a light sleeper its perfect because its very peaceful at nightime for sleeping and there are good blackout curtains too ! The owners of the hotel run a very tight ship! Thankyou for having me ! Its a very personal service not like you would get in a big chain of hotels. All the staff go above and beyond to deliver a very personal careing service As a solo traveller this was very reassuring ! Right down from the manager Riza who emailed me several times before i came to support and help me ,to the ladies who clean and do laundry Guljan thankyou for your kindness Ali the porter remembered me and helped me with my luggage. Thankyou Ali ! You are a star ! All the resaurant and bar staff work so hard and are so lovey Thankyou to you all ! Im sorry not to remember your names as they deserve to be mentioned! Both Chefs are amazing Thankyou for the Yogurt soup recipe ! I reccomend going half board as it is both delicious and all the produce comes from a local organic co op village near by ! Its very good for vegitarians The hotel has its own boat which goes down free to the amazing beach Iztüzü via the river bank that surrounds the grounds and amazing gardens. It leaves Wed and Sunday I also enjoyed the spa and hammam The manager is v helpful sorry i cant remember your name In short i cant wait to return to stay in paradise again I will be back!

Dalyan Resort is a haven of Tranquility in Paradise ! This was my 3 rd visit here in this amazing hotel and spa The owners really care about customer care and run a very “tight ship “ This does not feel like a chain of big hotels It is a v personel service! All the staff work very hard to be helpfull and supportive. All down the chain ! Too manynames to thank You ALL deserve a medal for working SO hard ! Down from the manager Riza who supported me via email before my visit and during which gave me comfidence as a solo traveller Thankyou Riza for making me feel Dayan Resort was my home for 7 days ! As a retired proffesionel gardener and v light sleeper i think ive died and gone to heaven as the gardens are amazing and its very quiet at night time for sleeping ! The half board option is v good value and is v good for vegiterians The food is organic and supplied by a local organic co op ! The chefs are v good sorry cant remember your names. Thankyou for your yogurt soup recipe …its delicious Will think of you when i make it Ali the porter remembered me and was so helpful with my luggage The boys and girls in resaurant work their sox off to give a descete and efficent service Sorry cant remember your names ! The Spa manger is lovey and i enjoyed my massage and Hamamam there were some good deals as was the end of the season ! The cleaners and laundry lady güljan is so nice she helped me find my laundry ! The hotel has its own boat twice a week Wed and Sun to the amazing beach at Iztüzü whıch i recomend ! You can also get a private tranfere to the airport which is an add on but good value cost ! Stayed here 2 October 2023 until 16 October. Charming hotel in lovely setting right on the river. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a ground floor room with patio which looked out onto the river, where we could sit in the shade and watch the tour boats sail down river. Room was comfortable with very large double bed, walk-in shower separate from toilet area which was useful. Food was good if a little repetitive and mainly Turkish. The two swimming pools are very attractive but were rather cold. (the sea at Turtle beach and the lake up river were much warmer) Breakfast and evening meal- both buffet - can be eaten at the side of the pool and there is a good pool bar run by John, a great barman! From the hotel gardens you look across to the Lycian tombs carved into the rocks, they are illuminated at night and look amazing.There are some very nice restaurants along the lane into town, and plenty more in Dalyan centre. Some areas of the hotel were out of use and rather scruffy although the gardens were well maintained. On the downside, would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and we found the walk into Dalyan centre rather tiring and further than TUI's information led us to believe - but husband and I are both elderly and not too good at walking! Taxi back was only 100TL. Unfortunately, there was a lack of information about the hotel and its facilities. TUI's information had highlighted a shuttle bus into town, however Reception knew nothing of this. TUI does not have a representative at or visiting this hotel, we were not aware of this in advance. There was no evening entertainment, which would have been nice if only one or two nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even gave us a lift into town. The hotel runs its own free river trips to Turtle Beach twice a week, out at 1-30 and return 5pm. The onsite spa is lovely and reasonably priced. Would certainly go back again, and would recommend with reservations.
