The hotel has two buildings: the old one with economy apartments and the new one with renovated apartments. We looked for good apartments with a decent shower and it was the best option in Agia Apostoli in terms of price/quality ratio. What we liked: + Spacious new apartment with the best shower of all 14 hotels in Greece where we stayed! + There was air-conditioner (free of charge), TV, powerful hair-dryer, a large wardrobe, many sockets, new furniture (almost all), good doors and windows with mosquito nets, 2 balconies (one for drying swimsuits and the second with a table for an evening aperitif) + In the kitchen: electric stove, drip coffee maker, sandwich toaster, full bottle of detergent, various utensils for eating and cooking (enough for our breakfast) + Good location on a quiet street, but at the same time within walking distance of all tourist services: 15 minutes to 4 good beaches and the same to a large supermarket, 10 minutes to a bus stop to go to Chania (buses every 20 minutes), next to the hotel 2 small shops and tasty gyros + Private parking in the courtyard – small but there was always free space for us + The hosts also live there, so the reception is almost 24/7 + they always respond quickly via WhatsApp + At the check-in we received a small gift – cookies from the host's mother, and after the check-out she kindly allowed us to leave some food in her fridge + We could also leave our suitcases at the reception after check-out and we had a lunch at the table in the hotel’s courtyard before leaving + Check-out time is 12:00 – very convenient! What we didn’t like: - Very strange cleening. Initially the apartment wasn’t very clean: dusty in the corners and hairs in the shower. During our stay (8 days) there was no full cleaning. Towels and only half of the bed linen were changed once. But the garbage was taken out every day, which wasn’t very convenient: we don’t like when someone constantly enters our apartment without special need. - Only 2 towels per guest, we would like more considering how often they were changed and the type of apartment (Executive) - There wasn’t hot water in the mornings, only lukewarm (it can be a problem for lovers of the morning shower) - It was very inconvenient that in a new apartment you can’t throw toilet paper into the toilet, although in many old Greek hotels this rule is already canceled - Many small problems: Wi-Fi didn’t work in the bedroom, no towel and kettle in the kitchen, lamp above the bed was pasted up with sticky tape, bathroom was dark (the only light above mirror) and there wasn’t socket (only in the corridor next to the bathroom so you need to go out for use a hair-dryer/electric shaver) - The day after check-in the host insistently tried to move us to apartment with a better view (which we didn't need), we had to argue because we have just unpacked our suitcases and didn't want to waste vacation time packing and repacking them in another apartment - Mistake in hotel’s description: a
