Pine Tree Spa and Resorts

I was reading other guests' review and hotel's reply to them before giving my review and I am sure this hotel doesn't pay any attention to customers review. Checking in was quick but immediately after checking in I went down to reception and informed the toilet looks unclean. The guy said he would send someone to check it never happened. I don't think they care about services. I pour hot water in toilet instead. However the room was quite large with a wide window view. Bedsheet, towels and room were clean except bathroom. The bathroom needs deep cleaning. Wall and sink was full of mould. Since it was off season in winter the huge dining area was freezing cold in night and morning where we had to have dinner and breakfast. There were somewhat choice of meal and breakfast with a faulty toaster. Morning tea was served cold. Since this place is full of tourists round the year why not have a better heating system in place in the winter? The small room heater was never enough for large room. The room comes with basic amenities. Tea, coffee, Soap, shampoo, lotion and a tiny toilet roll. They didn't bother to refill toilet roll. If you are use to dry your hair, bring your own hair drier. Worst internet connection ever during this travel. Complained a number of times nothing happened. Front desk said they would report to ***agement but net was hardly working. Future tourists may think twice before booking.

Pathetic staff, rude and unprofessional. Be it restaurant staff or house keeping all the same. Every night after 10 pm there will be no water supply literally. If someone has to use bathroom and toilet after 10 pm it's a nigh**are. Hot water is nil. Inspite of informing reception and concerned ***agers about early departure to airport there was no hot water. Literally we were 11 of us in 4 rooms and everyone has to wash face early morning and leave. The takeaway breakfast was just 3 or 4 slice of bread and mayonnaise and water bottle. Such is the service. I strongly request and urge traveller's to avoid this pine tree Spa resort at Darjeeling. It's a hopeless hotel and zero customer care. Infact old or young there's no one to take our baggages to room. We have to carry all luggages on our own and that too from a distance since this hotel is in very narrow road and hilltop where cars park at a distance due to traffic blockage

Worst ever hotel stayed we stayed in April 2023, Never go by internet pic's, Horrible Hotel to Stay,If you are thinking of staying in Darjeeling stay at Mayfair ,Not. Pine tree Spa and Resort ,No Hot water for bath,worst food,worst Service

Worst experience ever I had….. in fact, I have to apply a -5 star rating but Tripadvisor doesn't reflect a negative rating system… food was pathetic, the restaurant's staff was below average, housekeeping service was also poor in quality, we received our ordered food almost after 2 hours. So plz don’t book this hotel. It’s not worth.

The room was really fantastic. I stayed for 5 days. From the beginning all went very smooth. I should name the front desk personnel Shri Sumit, Shri Abhishek and the Lady Sm. Jyotsna. All were so co-operative. The boys and girls at the Restaurant under the supervision of the In charge Shri Malik were taking personal care all the time. Since morning all were sincerely attending to all the guests. Received very cordial and sweet behaviour from all the staff members. The Room Service was great. House-keeping services were also very nice. There was no scarcity of water at any point of time. Hot water was available all the time. Location of the property is also an added advantage. I shall be visiting time and again and shall recommend to all of my family and friends.

The hotel staff were really polite and took care of all of our needs. The rooms were good, clean, well maintained, warm and the view was good. The lobby is the ideal place for evening chitchats and socialising cause you’re welcomed by the beautiful view of Darjeeling. The location is excellent. If you plan to stay there please try the peach tea at their cafe.

Feeling like cheated, I was not able to pay on link given by Agoda for my booking, so I called hotel they asked me to cancel the booking with Agoda and promised us for the same deal , I trusted on hotel and follow their instructions. But as soon as I canceled they asked me for more money. Restaurant staff service at breakfast was pathetic.

Very nice services, Abhishek and Sumit are very cooperative, so do the other staff members, mall is just 5mins walking distance, rooms are very spacious, in short if I have to visit again in darjeeling I would try for this hotel pine tree again and would recommend the same to my friends and relatives.

Firstly, the location of this hotel is a big plus point, one can walk to local sightseeing spots easily. Special mention to polite service, under leadership of Mr. Syed Malik, he was very attentive and cared well for the guests needs, going out of his way often.
