We loved the room but the floor was very dirty. The ice machine was down all weekend. The pool and surrounding areas were wonderful. Convenient parking and easy to unload and load our car.

Room was ok, looked old. Bathroom door would not close. I don’t think the A/C worked very well. Ice machine did not work on the first night of our stay. Even though the hotel was advertised as non smoking, Several guests smoking on their balcony and on pool deck which we could smell on our balcony. There was very easy access to the beach which was good. Staff was friendly.

We’ve been staying at Tropical Winds for several years. Missing the front desk friendly greeting from Gwen. New management does not keep the property as well kept.
No smoking policy but can’t sit on the balcony

I loved everything about the motel friendly staff, clean rooms, motel, easy parking. Just the beds were hard and pillow hard and small we was hurting all night and next morning bed was not a Queen it was small, also

The view from the room was nice and the room was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. I dont think the beds were queen size maybe double. The hotel desk staff were not very friendly. The cafe staff were friendly. The AC in the room did not cool well. It kept room in 70s making it difficult to sleep. The pools were very dirty all through the stay. The outside pool had a lot of sand as well as cigarette butts and plastic.pieces floating in it. The indoor.pool had some kind of brown chunk pieces flotaing in the pool. Good selection of channels on the TV. Overall not terrible, needs updating especially AC and bathrooms and needs guest areas to be cleaned regularly. There was lots of trash around the exterior of the hotel. Not impressed and likely would not return. Much nicer properties nearby.

I took my spouse to the Tropical Winds OceanFront Hotel for his birthday.
He enjoyed it! He loved it!
He even wants to come back!

There was a used tampon in the bedroom area.
The kitchen pots, pans and utensils were very limited.
The ice machine didn’t work. No ice cube trays in the freezer.

Excellent stay. Checked in at night, after dark, having booked a partial ocean view. Only saw the parking lot out the window, so was disappointed BUT in the morning light, out the balcony were a couple of chairs and the ocean!! We could sit & have our morning coffee & share the ocean view together. 💙
