La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oceanfront Daytona Beach

Location was perfect for what we needed. The pool was nice and access to the beach was perfect. The staff was less than inviting and some were just rude. The rooms were good sized but HOT. Needed to buy a fan to sleep. The AC units do not work as they should. The fan in the bathroom does not do it’s job. Had to shower with the door open to breath. The doors do not seal thus allowing even more hot air into an already hot room. If my room had not been prepaid I would of left after the first night. We were miserable trying to sleep. This LqQuinta does NOT live up to the many I have stayed in over the years. Very Disappointed!

My stay was short, but when I got there my room wasn’t ready. That was fine. I sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes and was told that I could finally check in. I did and headed to the room. When I got to the room, housekeeping was still in there and told me that she told the front desk clerk that she needed more time. I sat in my car for another hour before the room was ready. Once I got in, everything was fine, but it wasn’t a great start.

This property did NOT look like the listings. Very run down. We opted to leave and go to another hotel

Everything was nice and all that I expected, EXCEPT the parking is too tight and the fact that there is absolutely no phone reception in the rooms. We had 5 phones no service!

Mold smell they try to cover it with pine soil!!! furniture warped from water damage and beds are uncomfortable amenities not working hot tub out of service

Good location right on beach, but its old and is basically a roughing it Motor Inn that still charges like an average hotel.

Area around the hotel is run down. The hotel itself is "used." It has been around a while.

We had a great time at the hotel specially with the pool and beach access. Definitely coming back

Our stay here was very good. Our room was as expected great ocean view and clean. The front desk personnel were always helpful and pleasant. We had direct beach access which was super nice. We would definitely stay here again.
