Sukoon - A Wellness Resort, Uttarakhand

It's been an exhilarating experience to visit Sukoon. We were a group of 5 people, and were received with warmth and extended an amazing hospitality. From organic food to indoor exciting activities such as swimming, spa and badminton etc. It was beyond expectation. Besides the resort also arranged sojourns to nearby places including canals, trekking and guided nature walks. Two days seemed too little! It was hard to bid goodbye. Weather was the main attraction as if the place intuitively knew how to maintain the optimal temperature and add excitement by exposing us to drizzles and fogs in morning, bright sunshine just about the right tea time at 9 am and a memory of sunset to cherish for the lifetime. Surrounded by greenery, water and mountains, I'm looking forward to celebrating ***y birthdays and anniversaries and spending ***y more holidays at this resort.

The best part about this property is that it is located right in the middle of fields. Very quiet, and has a view of the mountains, even though it is in the plains. There is a small road very close by that winds through the fields and makes for one of the most picturesque bicycling tracks we have experienced so far. The ***ager, Saurabh, is very friendly and warm. Went out of his way to organize a small birthday party ***** with the staff. The staff are also a group of very warm and adorable people. They will cater to your requests and there is always ready supply of nimbu pani and chai. The place is a little too expensive for the amenities, and one should avoid going during the summer months when it is very hot because this place is best enjoyed when one can be outdoors. The rooms though spacious are not too well-lit, and one cannot spend much time inside. Also, the rooms are tents, so despite the AC the warm air percolates through. Also, there is a stream close-by but it is a 10-15 min walk from the property, not close-by as the pictures suggested. And the stream is dry in the summer months. Good option in the right weather. Don't skip the cycling when there!

It has scrumptious food and fun adventure activities like cycling, trekking, badminton and swimming which you can enjoy with your friends and family. All this in a mere 6 hour drive from Delhi.

I stayed at Sukoon Retreat resort . I had an amazing time here with my mom . The hospitality is commendable. I loved the activities too like pool and jacuzzi. Food was yum . I enjoyed the weather a lot . Rooms are so comfy . Thanks for a great staycation.

Beautiful Resort near Dehradun. We were looking for a peaceful resort/ hotel near Dehradun and it was when I found Sukoon in Dakpathar. It is was a wonderful stay here, and in my opinion it is the best hotel in Uttarakhand and it so close to Paonta Sahib that we could easily go to the gurudwara and come back here for the best home style meals The attendents were very attentive and were always there to serve with a smile. Our children loved their indoor heated pool and the children play area. I could find my peace in the Sauna and library they had. Lot of outdoor activities available, like basketball, badminton, bicycles, table tennis and archery Special emphasis was the organic vegetable garden in which they had carrot etc which we could pluck and ask the chef to make for us. Their teams made sure we had an excellent stay, even packed the inhouse Nimbu ka Achar for us on our return. Already dreaming of going again

My recent resort stay was exceptional! The heated pool, jacuzzi, and diverse playing facilities like archery and cricket offered a perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Delectable food and a charming bonfire added to the delightful experience. The staff's friendliness and efficiency made the services truly outstanding. I can't say enough about Sukoon Retreat. The detox retreat did wonders for my health. I feel more energetic and lighter. The therapists were skilled, and the food was both nutritious and tasty. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

It is an excellent property with calm ambience. The rooms are well maintained and well equipped. Staff was courteous and extremely accomodating. Food was good. They also provide mainy recreational amenities to relax. In totality a wonderful experience at Sukoon.

Pathetic resort below expectations.very high cose against fake pics shown.overcharged to us.we didnt stay there nt even fr 1 minute.they didnt return our money.they charges us 10 fr 1 day...we booked fr 3 days..they kept our money with them and denied to refund nt even a single penny.***ish goel owner of resort didnt cooperate with us. I urge everyone to not to go for the properties of strotak hospitality.
