The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, Autograph Collection

We love Brown Palace and have been there before. We had difficulty getting them to return our calls when we were trying to make reservations for dinner there. Our air conditioning would not turn off and we didn’t hear back from them when we alerted them to the problem. For the price we were paying, we expected better service. It is still a wonderful historic place to spend time.

I would give the brown palace 2/5 stars. The only reason it’s getting 2 is because of the excellent wait staff we had at breakfast. They were so friendly and kind and attentive. Definitely recommend just going for breakfast to see them. As far as everything else it was subpar as best. I paid over $350 for my room and then at checkout paid and extra $109 just for internet and amenities. That definitely should have been included for what the hotel has to offer. Overall front desk staff was rude and stand offish and not very helpful at all. There’s some great historic pieces in the hotel but not enough for it to be worth what we paid for.

Always love the Brown Palace, staff is always great. The jazz music on Sat. is terrific! My only recommendation is that our room needed some upkeep, thing starting to fall apart in the room that need attention to keep this a spectacular hotel.

Historic and great location for CBD work but hotel needs some improvements. Big and comfortable rooms and quiet which is perfect for business travel.

The Brown Palace, of course, is an iconic and beautiful hotel. We have stayed there in the past and have enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately with this stay, the front desk staff and the house keeping was substandard. The Valet and restaurants/bar service were excellent and up to the standards I would expect in a hotel of this caliber.

Elevators were out...not enough staff to even replace batteries in safe...plus hot water took forever to get hot and no full length mirror in hotel.

Checked in at 4:30pm and our suite was not ready until 6pm. The room key reader was not working had to have maintenance come and fix to get into our room. Temperature in the suite was set at 76 degrees and not able to change it. Maintenance had to be called again for that issue.

Such a beautiful hotel. The music in the atrium was lovely and our dinner at The Palace Arms was devine!! We enjoyed our stay!

Room was fantastic. Amazing mattress, great pillows. Very quiet-it’s in downtown Denver and it’s so quiet. We didn’t want to leave. Room service was amazing. All the food was amazing in the tavern and breakfast restaurant. We’ll be back
