We had an unforgettable stay at the resort! The excellent room service, especially thanks to Ahu, made our experience exceptional. The food was delicious, with the tiramisu being the best we've ever had and the chocolate night an excellent touch. The handmade ravioli was exquisite, and the prosecco sent to our room was the perfect finishing touch. All these wonderful details made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return!

酒店餐廳的廚師很好，很友善， 酒店的保姆很有耐心 英文很好 酒店管家和經理 能力很差，對比中國管家他們還需要有很大很大的改善。他們酒店的管家和經理我覺得他要再上一些持續進修課程，當管家的能力實在太差勁。原定預訂了兩晚水上屋帶泳池和一晚沙灘屋帶泳池，當我長途跋涉到達酒店，告訴我，我第一晚的水上屋帶泳池滿房了，安排第二種房間給我，旁邊還有很多不同國籍的人入住，只有我們是中國人，感覺就像被不認真對待，把我們的房間讓給了他人，水上屋帶泳池的定價比我們入住的房間是較昂貴的。他們給我們的彌補，只是我們用房間的差價買了。第二晚終於安排了我們入住水上屋帶泳池，但最令人憤怒的事情，就是要我們早上10:00把房間交出來，然後再轉去沙灘屋，我說退房時間不是12點嗎？為什麼要我10點就要把房間交出來？那為什麼？我昨天入住的時候不是早上呢？我小朋友還在房間裏睡覺。另外酒店的沙灘上有很多垃圾，馬爾代夫不是一個很漂亮的地方嗎？為什麼充滿了垃圾呢？這些都是酒店排出來的嗎？全部都是由鮮榨橙汁橙皮和其他水果皮？另外酒店毛巾是黃黃灰灰的，不是雪白的？

We spent 9 days at joy island and we had the best time ever. The most important thing first: the personal is soooo friendly, competent, always smiles at you, does everything you wish for and just kind. They are what makes the stay that beautiful. We had the fortune to get served by the two most wonderful waiters Ausaht and Hasan. After one day they knew what we'd order and always asked us about our day or just chatted with us really lovely. These two made us smile every time we stepped into the market and were undoubtedly one of the best parts of our holiday:) The shuttle took us directly from the airport to the hotel and provided us with everything we needed. Arrived at the hotel our island host Wifag welcomed us and explained evervthina. During our whole stay he was there for us and would answer all our questions. We stayed at the Lagoon Villa and it was AMAZING. The bathroom is stunning and really big. We loved that you could directly access the shower from the terrace. The direct access to the water and the snorkelling reef was perfect. And at night you can observe mantas from the terrace. The beds are comfortable and we never had problems with the room service. The resort provides you with everything you need towels for the beach, fins, snorkels, stand up paddles, tennis rackets, volleyball and a lot more. The activities organised from the hotel are very nice. If you like snorkelling book a trip to turtle point (we did that and to say it was amazing is an understatement). The pool area is really nice and is directly connected to the bar what allows you to enjoy your drinks directly by the pool. The palm beach is also really nice. The atmosphere on the island was very friendly and it was never crowded anywhere even if the hotel was fully booked. Last but not least the food. It's really good! From pasta to curry to fish to meat to freshly cut fruit and a massive dessert buffet there's something for everyone. The quality of the food is really high and the chefs and all the personal at the market is soooo nice. There is always something different at the buffet and they do a evening with typical maledivian and sri lankan food. We also enjoyed the gelato at lunch and the fresh juices and waffles at breakfast. The only sad thing was that the padel court was broken but the other activities made up for it. Overall it was a memorable holiday and we enjoyed every part of it. We already the crystal clear water and Ausath the best waiter in the whole maledives 🫶🏻

From the amazing welcome we received when getting off the water taxi to the lovely farewell, we were made to feel truly welcome at Joy Island. You're greeted by your host for the stay, who gives you a tour, shows you how to contact him (all done via WhatsApp) and gives you lots of information. There was no check-in, no passports to deal with and once we had our tour, our bags were waiting at our room. All very smooth. The weather started sunny then overcast to full-on thunderstorms. Being October, we knew it was the end of the storm season, so it wasn't a shock. We would have liked a bit more sun but it was still on average 30 degrees all day every day so can't complain. We stayed in one of the lagoon villas, with a picture postcard view of the Indian Ocean stretching for miles. Our villa was east-facing and initially, I felt like we were going to miss out on the sunsets, however as it was October, these east-facing villas turned out to be more favourable. As the thunderstorms took over the latter part of our stay, the winds really picked up from the west, meaning we were shielded on our balcony and could sit outside watching the clouds swirl and the lightening in the distance, which added to the romance of the island (something I would have imagined not been possible in the west-facing villas). Also, west of the island is a new island being built, so views in the west-facing villas aren't as uninterrupted as the east-facing ones. The room was the perfect size, with everything you needed. Big comfy bed, a massive shower room, and plenty of storage. Soft drinks are included in the mini-bar but you can indulge in several bottles of wine at a price on a quieter night. I also ordered a bottle of champagne to be waiting for us on the balcony one night, which was a nice surprise for my partner. The villa has steps down to the sea, which adds another nice touch. You can rent snorkels for free from the watersports place, for the whole of your stay. I swam from the villa to the beach and had fish swimming around me. One suggestion is to wear shoes. I went in without any and must have stood on coral as my sole was bruised for the remainder of the trip. At night, all sorts of fish come up to the villa, including rays and reef sharks, which was mesmerising. The island is man-made, and from what we learned it only took 12 months to build, and opened 12 months ago, and you can tell. Everything felt clean and well looked after. Teams of people were at hand to keep the resort looking nice and all greeted you with a smile and a hello. The food is sensational. We've been to many all-inclusives and this tops them all. Designed to be like a food market, the restaurant has different areas for the different food types. From the fish counter, the ice cream trolley, or the "Room of Sin" (deserts). Amazing time, great beaches, snorkeling, food! Francesca was very helpful! They even upgraded us to two bedroom villa on last day! We did a turtle excursion and saw many turtles with some amazing fish as well. Had the best time would go back without any reservation.

I lived an unforgettable experience on this wonderful island. Everything was perfect, especially Sandali, made sure that our honeymoon was exactly as we wanted. All the staff were wonderful, many thanks also to Shreya, Una and Andy!🥰 Best vacation ever!!!
