Dhigali Maldives - A Premium All-Inclusive Resort

On arrival by seaplane to Dhigali we were greeted with a warm welcome by Chris and his team. This friendly vibe continued throughout our stay, staff knew our names, and were attentive to every detail ensuring we had the best experience. We stayed in room 328 which was a great location and close to all the amenities. It was cleaned to perfection every day by Watty, and was very spacious, great bathroom and big comfortable bed. We enjoyed fabulous food in every restaurant, the variety was excellent,but our standout meals were in Jade. The coffee shop was a nice touch and a good stop off after an early morning walk. The spa is very tranquil, we enjoyed massage and facials with Gusti and Wanda. You can smell the spa before you see it, beautiful fragrance fills the air. It’s a must during your stay. The dive centre is well equipped and immaculate. Managed by Greg and his team. During our stay my partner enjoyed 18 dives seeing shark, manta, turtles and more. His dive instructor Franzi was fantastic ensuring he had the best experience. The boat crew were very attentive. If you’re not a diver like me the snorkelling is also great, seeing turtles, sting rays loads of beautiful fish and even a fair sized shark. I had the need to see a doctor during our stay, this was organised promptly for me and the island doctor was very thorough, he prescribed medication and said he would contact me in 48 hours for my progress, which he did and my symptoms were cleared. The sunset at Halli bar is spectacular, a great way to finish the day with a cocktail and seeing the sea glimmer like liquid gold as the sun fades. Dhigali is immaculate and constantly being tended to by the team of staff who work very hard. All their efforts ensured we had a fantastic,relaxing holiday and we would highly recommend Dhigali for your next adventure.

A perfect mix of everything, amazing views, relaxing by the beaches or pools, paddle boarding and activities, pizza and bars, evening entertainment, beautiful sea life, stunning walks and lovely restaurants . Staff were also so brilliant and accommodating. Snorkelling - so many amazing areas to snorkel with little sharks, beautiful fish and even mantas. Dolphin cruise - this comes as part of your package if you are premium all inclusive, we got so lucky and saw loads of dolphins that came right up to the boat. Restaurants - Capers is buffet style and caters for everyone, the food in there is great and they provide a range of options that cover breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our favourite restaurant was Battuta which we ended up booking two nights, we also loved the Pizza at the west beach and Jade. Didn’t like Faru as much as the others but that was just preference! The rooms are stunning, well looked after, the staff are very friendly. We stayed in a water villa which was beautiful with steps down to the water. We have been to so many places that have become ‘Americanised’ with the tip culture, but there was absolutely no pressure or feeling we had to tip, we just chose to because the staff were so great and went out of their way to chat to us and look after us. Entertainment - We spent a lot of our time over at the West Beach where there was a sax player and Dj some nights, they also did a move night, and we just generally liked sitting out in the bean bags with our pizzas drinking cocktails and watching the sunset which was to die for. I’m sure there are so many stunning places in the Maldives but we feel we got so lucky to pick a place like this and if you are look for a perfect blend of everything, definitely come here! X

Our first time in Maldives and we took dession for Dhigali. We have to say that we are overwelmed. The service, nature, food and drinks everything was high class.We have to take up two things that we always will remember. We took cookingclass with chef Idris and that is something we will reccomend. Idris is wery kind, knows what he is doing during cooking, easy to understand and explaine very easy. We think we find a new friend The other one we want to tell about, we dont know his namn but he plays saxofon like a god Thanks to all staff in Dhigali and a speciell thanks to idris Junior Chef at Restarunt Battuta. Deciding which resort on which Atoll, in the Maldives, to go to can be a daunting and confusing experience. Fortunately for us, we had used Hummingbird Travel before, for our 12 days in Sri Lanka, which was close to perfection! So we asked them if they could help us with our trip to the Maldives. We are pretty experienced travelers, experienced enough to know, that when you don't know, it's best to ask someone who does! We knew there were about 172 resorts to choose from and many looked very appealing, but Hummingbird Travel narrowed it down to a couple they could recommend based on our wants and needs. Between the two we chose Dhigali. We are very happy we listened to Hummingbird!!! Dhigali is quite perfection. The staff is amazing! Friendly. helpful and kind. We spent 6 days there and longed for a few more days! The Dhigali team has created a friendly community feeling. Sunsets are for a gathering of visitors, on the western beach with drinks and appetizers brought to you in the sand as the magnificent Sun sets over the Indian Ocean. The nearby pizza shack, with a full on pizza oven, makes a great dinner pizza for a most relaxing evening. Alone time and privacy are uninterrupted. We were able to walk everywhere and snorkeled with a vast multitude of fish and corals everyday directly from our room! It just doesn't get better than this. The restaurants are exceptional and the breakfast buffet is perfection! We can highly recommend the Dhigali, you will not be disappointed! A special shout out to; Dombe, our room attendant!
