At first sight, the lodge is beautiful, but the inside needs freshening up. The manager speaks good English but the waiting staff don’t. The rooms are clean but old fashioned. We had dinner there, but it was disappointing, I had a burger (nothing else available) and a huge plateful of cheap, skinny chips, no veg, no salad and cost £28 but the dessert was better, that was £8. Breakfast wasn’t much either. Shame though, it could have been a lovely stay.

We had a terrible experience with the service, one of the waitress was so rude with us, to begin we asked to bring us tap water, however she brought us an expensive water bottle. She made us wait a long time to take our orders. Moreover, when we paid she didn’t provide us with the detail of the orders we had to request it. Then we realise that we were charged for food we didn’t order, after a discussion and a very aggressive attitude from her, she agreed to give us back the extra money we paid it for the food. Expensive and average food with a terrible and rude service. I don’t recommend this place at all

All you need for a night when traveling. The rooms are small and are ensuite, there are not any provisions for fixing or storing food. Breakfast is included and is the continental type with eggs and cold ham. There is a storage room for skid and maybe 6 bikes. I would stay there again.

Sehr schöne Sonnenterasse und hat mit Magnus einen freundlichen und kompetenten Service - bester in Disentis. Direkt an der Skipiste vom Übungshang lohnt sich nach einem schönen Skitag ein Abstecher am Ende der Talabfahrt in die Catrina Lodge

Mit Freude gingen wir in die Catrina Lodge. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Allerdings ging die Stimmung dann runter, als das Essen kam. In einem Salat waren Reste von einem Insekt. Dieses war nicht klein, man hätte es gut sehen können. Der Salat wurde zwar nicht verrechnet, aber meiner Frau verging dann der Appetit auf ihren Salat. Beim Hauptgang ging die Bestellung für meine Frau vergessen. Das heißt, ich konnte mit den beiden Kindern essen ohne meine Frau, welches ihr Essen viel später erhielt. Und das alles für mehr als CHF 160??? Das ist leider keine Qualität, sondern nur Abzocke!
