Hotel Akshaya

This one point is for the staff who atleast tried to improve things upon request. We booked a night due to the close proximity to railway station and good reviews and eneded up having the worst stay of the trip. We paid 1700 inclusive breakfast. Located on the main road. No view from the window. The issues - - The hotel has a check out time of 7am! - The sheets and pillow covers were dirty - the room and bathroom was worn out with stained, cracking walls, tin plated door, dirty mirror - Room was small - TV was not working properly in our room - the bathroom had cockroaches in the night - there were so ***y mosquitoes that we couldn't sleep through he night -No working restaurant during our stay as was displayed on goibibo - breakfast was option of 4 items packed from outside - Tea coffee not available after even 7pm - no complimentary water even! There were so ***y issues that we gave up even complaining after getting the sheets and pillow covers changed. They gave us a late check-out (9am) and breakfast thankfully tasted good so thanks to them for that but seriously this property is just unlivable currently. very central, bigger rooms, tv and ac works, working wifi, average cleanness, lift,attached restaurant, very polite and courteous front desk staff, good breakfast served to room, value for money hotel, off road car parking, strongly recommend this hotelier budget conscious traveller.

We have stayed here since 2017 regularly for business trips. Although, it was not top class but well maintained property on main road with perhaps TOP Quality food. Come June 2022, it's really terrible. It seems maintenance has been completely stopped. There were cockroaches all around even in the day. Kitchen not available in the morning. Food quality has well below par. New staff doesn't understand meaning of Cleanliness. Staff asks for tip evening before serving the food on the table. No water bottles or Toiletries. Towels, Bed sheet and pillow covers need immediate replacement. Overall, a big NO for us for any further visits. Recommended to check physically before booking online.

1) Hot water is not coming in the washroom. Staff arranged it separately. 2) Hotel Restaurant is in Renovation we need to order and staff will bring. 3) Room is ok. 4) Staff expects tips for even small work. 5) Food which was brought from outside was good 6) Cleaning is fine 7) Toilet is ok 8) Cable TV is working 9) Power sockets are very less in room and shabby 10) Staff are courteous with Customers Overall rating 7/10
