Rossmore Manor

Beautiful wild spot over looking the Donegal Bar, which was gorgeous and especially interesting when the tide was out. Out room was enormous and clean. The owners were very nice and helpful. It is a ways out of town, and a little hard to find, but we had a car, so the drive into town and around was always fun.

What an absolute stunning place! Why? Well, take your pick; breathtaking views, luxurious rooms which are immaculately clean, spacious and in-room facilities. We were in the room to the far right with its own front door. Could sit for hours looking out the window in the comfy wicker sofa. Breakfast was perfect, nothing too much trouble. Jackie and Jeff so friendly - we knew we needed to stop asking them so many questions about the house as they’d be busy, but you got the renowned Irish welcome. A stunning ‘piece of heaven’ and even when it was raining on the morning we were leaving didn’t detract from this place.

Lovely Bed & Breakfast in a beautiful house at a stunning location outside Donegal. Friendly & welcoming hosts & very comfortable room with ever convenience. Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of food including home made rhubarb jam.

This B & B is out of town so you need transport to find dinner. The setting is beautiful and the room we had spacious and comfortable. It seems that showers in all accommodation in Scotland have quirky plumbing and feeble outlets and this place was no different. We enjoyed breakfast cooked specially for us instead on bain maries but the bacon is just as thick and salty as anywhere else. The welcome was warm. We would go again if the opportunity arose.

This is not your average B&B. It is stunning. Beautiful home & you have your own suite with a beautiful view of the bay. The room we had was huge. Bed was very comfortable & by far the best B&B we have ever stayed. Jackie & Geoff were great hosts. Wish we would have had time to spend an extra day or two. Abbey hotel bar in Donegal was really good for supper & got to see a fantastic band (The Rusty Strings) playing great traditional Irish music

We had a very nice stay at Rossmore Manor. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the bay. Jackie was very helpful in giving us ideas of what to do while in Donegal, she also cooked us a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Visiting for a wedding recently, we had a wonderful time , Jackie and Geoff treated us like family, a little tricky to find ( welcome to Donegal) but we’ll worth the time . Breakfast was always delicious and sets you up for the day. We will return.

We stayed here in 2018 and planned a trip in May 2020 that was moved to 2022. The B&B is in a great location, rooms are spacious and bathrooms have plenty of room. The rooms have supplies for tea which was nice in the evening. Breakfast was very good. The menu is not large, but has a great variety. Our host made sure to check with us on our way in on a day when the weather had turned blustery. We enjoyed staying with Jackie and Geoff again and would stay here in the future.

This was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip. First, Geoff and Jackie were wonderful host. Geoff even took us on a tour of the property. The view of the bay was gorgeous as was the sunsets. Our room was very large, and we had a view of the bay. Our breakfast each morning was made to order. In my book, this is a must stay at place!
