NYX Hotel Dublin Portobello

lovely and helpful night and day shift, loved the inside design, very interesting, lovely room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, but unfortunately a bit of dirt on the floor and dust balls under the floating bed

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful and gorgeous part of Dublin. A few minutes walk away from the Green Line LUAS. The more compact bedrooms are a bit on the small side for a couple, but they’re still well appointed, very new and clean, and comfortable. The hotel bar is cosy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of parking, you’ll have to park onstreet at fairly considerable expense. Not really the fault of the hotel, but it is something to note if you’re driving here.

East checkin, great location, great view from rooms. Would stay again.

Such a cool hotel!! It’s brand new, stylish decoration, good breakfast and wonderful staff! Shower and beds are good as well.. Very well located, about 10min from downtown. Restaurants and supermarket close by. Located right by the canal.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while in Dublin and it was wonderful. The room was small but had eveything you needed - the staff were friendly and also went that extra mile to decorate our room as we were away for an anniversary trip. The only thing I would specify next time is to not have a room opposite the lifts as it can get a bit noisy. The bathroom was so clean and the shower pressure and temperature was fab! The bed was incredible comfy and the location was wonderful - we would 100% stay here again!

We had an excellent stay in this hotel, on arrival staff were very friendly, they let us check in early and check in was very efficient. The room was lovely, beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Would 100% recommend this hotel, great value you for money and a great location near lots of restaurants and bars.

Just home from a 2 night stay at this hotel with my husband and my 7 year old daughter. The hotel is absolutely spotless everywhere you look, the staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are great, perfect size for our family the beds are incredibly comfy and they are all tastefully decorated and everything you could want or need is provided. My only suggestions for improvement would be- a fan in the rooms they do get very hot even with the room temperature down as low as it can go and bedside lights, we could only have all lights in the main area on or off, having a bedside light for in the morning when waking up and to have on while chilling before calling it a night would have been great. We did have a slight issue on arrival, our room wasn't ready even though it was past check in time the manager on duty couldn't have been more apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks of our choice while we waited, then he came and found us for checking in once it was ready, we cannot fault how this was handled at all. The selection of drinks available from the bar area is huge and I highly recommend the hotel special cocktail (can't remember the name but it's amazing and so refreshing) We absolutely loved our stay and NYX Dublin and would happily return....we didn't want to leave at all.

Exelaint hotel ! Great decor ! Great experience from start to finish ! Loved the design & decor! the hotel is in a great location ! Reception staff very professional & friendly ‘ room was clean & spacious ! Great breakfast ! Many options for a buffet style breakfast! Throughly enjoyed my stay ! Would highly recommend! 100% would stay again !!!
