Maldron Hotel Merrion Road

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The electric kettle in the room was disgustingly dirty, as shown in the pictures. Moreover, our family room had a constant and unpleasant sewage odor that made our stay very uncomfortable. I hope the hotel management takes these issues seriously and addresses them promptly.

Completely disgusted by this hotel in Dublin, has been staying in this hotel for nearly a week. Because I just came to Dublin, I didn't know there was a football match recently, so I didn't renew the rent long in advance, and when I woke up, I found that I couldn't book a room. When we went to the front desk, the manager asked us to check out, wait for someone to check out in the hotel and arrange a room for us immediately, and arrange us to wait in the conference room, we were assured to book a room for the next day. During this period, we were afraid of making the hotel difficult, and we have been looking for other hotels, but none of them have rooms. Then, around 12 am, a Chinese Northeast Shenyang employee of the hotel came and asked us to leave. We explained why, but he said we had to leave. And then the night shift manager at their hotel came and kicked us out again. But it was the most dangerous time in the early morning, and we were afraid to leave with a lot of luggage and two children. Then they said they would call their manager to ease things up, but instead they called the police, and when they got to the bottom of it, they told us to stay. It felt like a thrill and a scare. Refresh our knowledge of Irish hotels. You can run a hotel and bully guests? I don't know who would dare stay in a hotel like this.

Everything was great had a really great stay

We loved our stay at the Maldron and we will certainly be back. The hotel is beautiful the rooms are so comfortable and meticulously clean, the food was first class and everyone was so friendly. My daughter who was with us absolutely loved her stay at the Maldron, she has special needs so we were even more delighted that she loved the hotel as much as myself and my partner. Dublin is amazing and we're already planning our next trip for the near future, the hotel carpark is a real advantage to us especially when my daughter was with us so we will definitely be back. We left a pair of my daughters trainers behind and she was upset but the issue was very quickly resolved by the amazing reception staff who found them and are in the process of returning them, we live in Belfast and my partner lives in Ballymoney so we would find it quite difficult to drive down to collect but they are going to be returned by post which is a great help to us and is a testament to the amazing attentive and caring nature of the staff. Thank you so much for an amazing time. We will certainly be returning to the Maldron.

Great hotel. Super fresh, clean, lovely people. Also extremely comfortable beds. The location isn’t amazing, especially when bad weather but if you have a car that won’t be an issue. I’ve stayed here 3 times. Each time has been excelllent.

We had a great week long stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had many options. The room was also very clean. The cleaning staff refreshed the room every day.

Clean, warm and well located with a very good shower in bathroom. Rooms are tight for space and the wash handbasin in our room on 5th floor was extremely slow to empty. Having to pay €12 for hotel parking seems excessive as did a basic breakfast at €15 each. We would stay again as the location was ideal for the purposes of our visit to Dublin.
