When you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.   Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.   We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path.  We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.   I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.    A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

Qingcheng Mountain Girls' Trip🍃 I'd repeatedly book this healing B&B! Escaping the bustling city of Chengdu with my bestie for a weekend, we came to Qingcheng Mountain to breathe in the fresh air and unwind – it was incredibly therapeutic! We stumbled upon the hidden gem, Hegushanju, which offers an all-inclusive experience for dining, accommodation, and activities, meaning absolutely no planning was needed.✨ The B&B is nestled in a tranquil mountain forest and bamboo sea, fully immersing you in a Zen atmosphere! Besides the private hot tub on each room's super private balcony ♨️, there's also a stunning outdoor mountain pool. The water is crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, making it perfect for photoshoots. Playing in the water and strolling with my bestie was incredibly enjoyable! The evening healing experience was a huge plus! Every night at 8 PM, there's a singing bowl and candlelit meditation, offering an immersive way to de-stress and calm the mind. It truly healed all my work-related anxieties; the experience was fantastic. The second day's itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling! From 8:30 to 10:00 AM, there's an incredibly rich buffet breakfast with everything from *chaoshou* (wontons), noodles, to whole grain porridges. We ate until we were full and energized. During the day, you can join a group hike in the mountain forest to embrace nature, or quietly copy scriptures and paint mandalas at the Suwen Academy, slowly savoring the holiday time. A Hidden Treasure This guesthouse was one of the best surprises of our trip. Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the ancient town on the pedestrian street, making it easy to explore, find great food, and access the nearby hiking trails. From the outside, the entrance looks like a small, unassuming restaurant, so we weren't expecting much. However, the room completely exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The large tatami-style bed was soft, and the bedding was of excellent quality, making for a wonderful night's sleep. The restaurant is also worth trying. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chicken soup with ginkgo nuts. It was so flavorful that I even ate all the chicken skin—something I never do! The biggest highlight was the exceptional service. The staff created a dedicated WeChat group for each guest, so any questions or requests were answered almost instantly. Every evening, the owner also prepared a freshly made sweet dessert soup for every guest, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly welcomed. This place combines a great location, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Another stay at this hotel, and it was great. It's super close, just a 200-meter walk from Qingchengshan High-Speed Rail Station. After hiking Qingcheng Mountain, you can even enjoy a hot spring in the afternoon. If it rains, you can simply order food directly at the hotel, and the dishes and taste are quite good. It's very convenient. Perfect for traveling with seniors and children. The service was also very satisfying. I'll choose this hotel again next time.

The decor is so chic, I absolutely loved it! The landlady was incredibly warm and welcoming. She asked when we'd arrive and even turned on the AC for us in advance. She also prepared some lovely Sunshine Rose grapes. When we left, she gave both children a small gift, which was a completely unexpected and delightful surprise. Overall, a very satisfying trip!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The homestay had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. There's a lift that takes you up to Level 2 where the homestay is located. While there isn't a lift within the homestay itself, it wasn't an issue at all because the owner was incredibly kind and even insisted on carrying our luggage all the way up to our room on the third floor. We truly appreciated such a thoughtful gesture! The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. For my Muslim friends, there's a delicious halal food stall located just outside the homestay. It was so good that we went back to buy takeaway for dinner later that night! The location is also convenient, with many tourist attractions nearby. We found taking a DiDi to be the easiest and most comfortable way to get around. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one, we would definitely stay here again!

I specifically came for the 'blue tears' phenomenon, and choosing this accommodation in Guanxian Ancient City really made things easy. It was just a few minutes' walk from my room to the South Bridge, and seeing the 'blue tears' after dark made it all worthwhile. On the way back, I passed a lively night market, bought some skewers, and ate them as I walked. The room itself was nice, the bedding was clean, and after a long day of exploring, I could just shower and fall right asleep. I woke up refreshed the next day, ready to continue exploring the ancient city! 🌟

The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here. 1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy. 2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out. 3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall. 4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain. 5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious. 6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain. Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell. Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere. Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

You can see the river view, the breakfast is good, the facilities are also good, and the service is attentive. The surrounding transportation is convenient, with shopping and dining options available. It's also very close to the Dujiangyan Scenic Area, Nanqiao Bridge, and Guanxian Ancient City, all within a 30-minute walk.
