Hotel was lovely, staff were all very pleasant and felt like good value generally.
Food was okay, nothing mind blowing but nothing to complain about either. Restaurant staff forget drinks a number of times and left us waiting for menus and ordering for quite some time.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel is very nice. Our stay there was quite comfortable, convenient to Dublin, clean, and quiet. Service was top notch and the trails around the property were lovely. Dunboyne Village is very cute with coffee shops and pubs available. However, the Ivy restaurant at Dunboyne Castle Hotel was excellent for dinner, it definitely is a four star hotel, bordering on five.

Stayed at Dunboyne for one night after leaving the city. Parking was the draw for my husband to this hotel. Convenient & easy to park. Ate at the Bar for dinner. Food was good & service was quick. Would recommend for someone looking to stay out of the busy city.

Room OK, although the 'view' was only to the rear of the property and with encroaching trees. The entire hotel seemed as if it could do with an overall deep clean. Staff were polite and friendly.

Very nice hotel with large rooms in a beautiful, quiet setting. The furniture and carpet in the lounge and restaurant are in need of replacement - but I would stay again.

I was given a room with an air vent on to the next rooms balcony, so it sounded like they were in my room, also the air vent faced the outside terrace of the bar which was noisy.
Every room seemed to have a balcony except mine, it seems you get the worst rooms when booking with **********.
Breakfast so so.
Restaurant food good.

When I first reserved this hotel I was hesitant due to the fact that is a 20 minute ride from Dublin City Center. About an hour by bus. However, that turned out to be the best part of the trip. We were there for 8 days and most every day we would take a cab into Dublin to see the sights or take a tour (Blarney and Cliffs of Moher). But every night my wife and I would finish our day on the hotel patio drinking a pot of tea or having a coffee. We would spend a couple of hours discussing the day and enjoying the peaceful evening.
This is an excellent hotel mostly because the staff is exceptional. They are always friendly and eager to help make your stay the best it can be. The on site spa is damn good. I arranged for my wife to get a facial/massage package and she really enjoyed it. The lady that took care of her did an excellent job and was extremely knowledgeable about her craft.
The dining was very good and the waitstaff very attentive and professional.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town of Dunboyne. It’s a small town with a few places to eat. We ate at O’Dwyers, it’s a family style pub with great food and cold Guinness!
I highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to returning in the future.

Ok this is a very nice hotel and I will use again. The breakfast was great, nice selection helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable, nice big TV and quiet.
The only issues were: getting in, the car barrier kept failing and was extremely annoying as there is no incoming intercom. 2nd minor gripe..nice bath provided...with a plug that didn't fit so I had to put some plastic in the plug hole or it would have drained out as fast as it filled...how can that not be noticed!!!
