The Vanderbilt Hotel Suites

Amazing property. This is a residence hotel, so we took all hotel rooms for our wedding bridal party over labor day weekend. Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Our guests were very impressed. Great staff. Great amenities. Nice pool. Nicest hotel in the area by far. Highly recommend

It was a solo trip for just one night. Therefore, my review cannot be thorough. However, it will simply point out the most visible aspects of the hotel. It is a community composed of apartment tenants and hotel guests. This mix did not bother me at all since it is seamless. It is a luxurious place recently erected (year 2010s}. Everything feels new, and everything is kept clean. The place is quiet, even though it is frequently visited by people who come eat at the annexed restaurant Juniper. I love quiet, so thumbs up! I also dined at the restaurant, and the bronzino was delicious. I give a median grade to the front-desk staff as they were just nonchalant, but did their job nonetheless. Nothing to reproach the room. It was luxurious, clean, well equipped with a microwave, a large screen TV, a very comfortable bed, a practical closet, and a nice view to the pool (closed during the cold seasons). The bathroom was beautiful and inviting. It definitely contributes to the prestige of the hotel. However, I would strongly advise the Manager to change the key system. Hovering the key over the door sensor does not work. The sensor reads the key as if by accident causing exhaustion to the guest from the simple task of opening a door. I am sure the issue was not with my particular key because I could observe my neighbors doing the same hovering dance with their hands to open their room doors. That is irritating! In the overall, thumbs up for The Vanderbilt Hotel Suites!

This place is just fabulous and our first choice when staying near LIU Post University. The rooms are spacious, clean and just great. There is a lounge area with a pool table and tv if you want to get our of your room, a pool area and even grills to use during your stay. Gym is also great. If they have availability you better grab it! Nothing within an hour (or more) drive compares! Nothing in the area is worth the price like this property.

The Vanderbilt is a classy place the stay. The suites are very large, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is actually a residential building and only the first floor is available to travelers. They have a restaurant and bar onsite. We had dinner there one night and it was very good. They have two large lounges a large gym and another room with tables for eating and gathering. I will always look here first Webb coming to Long Island.

From the moment you drive up to the Westbury and see the modern tudor-esque facade and beautiful landscape design bursting with colors you feel far away from the utilitarian neighboring shopping/mall/service district. You pull up to the portico and upon stepping into the sparkling clean and modern lobby you are greeted with the most beautiful fragrance, light marble floors, modern woods, high ceilings and modern lighting you know this is going to be a great experience. The rooms are huge, immaculate in cleanliness, and the decor is a combination of boho meets glam with nice rich textures in a very soothing natural palate. The room and bathroom could not have been nicer or more comfortable. The large pool and outdoor lounge area, while sadly we didn't get to spend that much time at as originally planned, was gorgeous, luxurious, and had fantastic seating combinations throughout. It was never crowded too. I came with my two senior parents for a personal stay from the west coast and Florida respectively, which was supposed to be a 5 night stay originally, but unexpectedly ended up as a 9 night stay because my father ended up ill and admitted to a local hospital. It was a very stressful experience to deal with and we were far from home, without a car, etc. The staff, led by Leslie, was SO KIND to us during this time of need and helped us in numerous ways to keep us put, comfortable, and contained as we dealt with our unexpected situation and recovery. We are very grateful for the help they provided us with. I cannot recommend this property enough. The location if fantastic, the front staff were all darling, and because this is a residence facility primarily, guests at the hotel are treated like neighbors too during their stay. I would love to come back again under less stressful circumstances and fully enjoy the pool, gym, game room, library, etc. You cannot go wrong!!

This place use to be my home away from home Brent the bellman made me and my family and friends feel so comfortable always a warm welcoming into the hotel , I hear he was dealing with work place harassment , from Sherian , Jade the front desk staff , sorry that happen to u miss u being at the door , taking my business else where

Been coming here for a while. Gym and pool are great, but they need a hot tub. Yesterday. Rooms are class and it's close to restaurants/stores. Brent and CC at the front desk helped me with an item a family member lost.

had the pleasure of spending our Valentines night here at the hotel suites and enjoyed Juniper for a delicious dinner, will absolutely come back! Huge Thanks to Brent for being so welcoming and showing us around the amenities that were available to us during our stay!

We have stayed here twice. Both times, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff is very attentive. This latest trip, we were especially impressed with one of the employees, Brent, who went above and beyond to secure a cup of milk for our young one. This was most appreciated given the lack of food/beverage room service.
