Review for Travelodge, Edinburgh I stayed at this Travelodge in early December, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. While the lobby was presentable, the rest of the hotel left much to be desired. My room had damp walls, and the bathroom experience was particularly unpleasant — when I used the shower, a yellow goo dripped down the shower curtain and pooled towards the plughole. I had to actively avoid it with my feet, which was vile. Additionally, my basement room faced the main street, making it difficult to relax. Not nice having to remove the end of the curtain from the rail so it would hang over the window fully, otherwise you could see out the window from the bed. The bar prices were shocking: £30 for three drinks in a budget hotel is unreasonable. This is a Travelodge, not a luxury chain like Hilton. The only saving grace was the breakfast, which was great. I cannot recommend this location based on my overall stay.
