Avoid at all cost. Dishonest money grabbing, Money Laundering tax scammer. The Church Apartment is located in a run-down street comprising Victorian tenements which were built to house the proletariat. The general area is noisy and quite intimidating when walking late at night. There is no specific parking as advertised, with only over congested chargeable kerbside parking. The apartment itself is small, cramped and dark with very little natural light. There is an internal poorly ventilated bathroom. The kitchen and living area are combined, if you use the cooker the smell permeates throughout the apartment. The furnishings are cheap, modern and functional, more Ikea than bespoke luxury! When we arrived there was no one to allow access. I tried to contact Natalie and was bounced through several people before I was given a code to retrieve a key from an external key safe. You are on your own here! If you have any issues or complaints they fall on deaf ears. When you do manage to contact Natalie you will find that she is very arrogant and aggressive. Natalie has no shame in grabbing your money with no conscience or understanding of Customer Service. Natalie is clearly an amateur trying her luck in the Hospitality Industry. Natalie the owner is a dishonest tax scammer; there are additional charges such as a £30 service charge, leave CASH on the table for this one! Also a £200 damage deposit. These charges are not obvious on the initial booking screen; one is required to click a link to uncover these covert charges. Natalie glibly refers to her “T & C” which are obscurely placed at the end of the booking process. Failure to comply results in the loss of any money you have already paid! There are no refunds here! Payment is made by card to a “Sister Business”, Bankton House Hotel in Livingston. This is a crass attempt to conceal income and avoid tax, nothing short of Money Laundering. I will be reporting this to the relevant tax authorities for further investigation into both businesses. Do not fall victim, do not facilitate this scammer. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! I repeat Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
