The horrible two nights I had there. The poor air condition system made a loud noise during the night, the series sounds back in every two minutes and its loud enough to keep you awake. So basically I woke up around 4am, it’s the wine made me fall asleep easily luckily enough. So, i made my first complain next day morning, the reception guy said they will send staff to check but not mentioned at all there were other guests to complain about the noise. When I came back later that afternoon, they arranged to change room for me but a darker room but said never had complain about the noise. So I thought why I had to change a worse room if no one complained about noise from the current one I stayed. Later one, its proofed they were playing the game.. well done. Therefore, my second night hunted me again, I recorded this big air conditioner noise, called the reception around 4:30am and asked for ear plugs, but still couldn’t help. 7am I went to the reception, the but reception staff ( same guy from day one, seems like Indian) I wanted to show my records but of course no one wanted to listen it because they knew where the bloody sounds come from. I was told that they had guests complaining about the noise.. but there’s nothing they could do about it. Careless and rude! Seriously, this hotel management, fix your air condition system, if your guests are serious about the complain, please make some efforts… for the guests who want to stay in this hotel, please make sure calling them before you check in. Making sure they won’t put you in the wings where you couldn’t sleep with the loud noise. I had unforgettable experience in Edinburgh with this hotel! Good job!
