Strandhotel Golfzang

The hotel is located right by the coast, and there is parking in front of the hotel. Parking is free from 7 PM to 10 AM. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. I recommend this hotel, especially the rooms with a sea view.

We stayed for 2 nights in a sea view room and it was just ok. Like a worn down Holiday Inn. Hardly a 4 star. Carpets stained and worn out. Room requests not heeded. Toilet had a bit of smell to it so had to keep restroom door closed. Not a recommended stay. We chose this place as not many hotels on the coast actually offer a sea view from your room. This place did. But we requested a high floor room as we are light sleepers. We were placed on the first floor right above the entrance and next to the main stairwell. No apology (and honestly some attitude from the young woman at reception checking us in). Just that the hotel was full. We had booked and prepaid month in advance but they could not figure it out still. The sauna had a broken steam room which smelled of urine. The dry sauna and infrared are quite small and must be booked in advance. Breakfast was fine. Difficult to find tables at times so we started bringing trays up to our balcony instead. Much more enjoyable that way. Having said that a/c worked well and there was sufficient storage space. Housekeeping could do to wipe the shelves though, lots of dust and hair there.

Wir waren schon mehrfach Gäste im Hotel Golfzang. Das Hotel punket durch seine erstklassige Lage direkt am Strand. Da wir mit unserem Hund verreisen,gibt es spezielle Zimmer für Gäste mit Hund im Erdgeschoss. Dieses ist ausreichend gross,ebenso das Bad. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war sehr gut. Leider hat die Qualität des Frühstücks im Laufe der Zeit erheblich nachgelassen.Einfach und keine Abwechslung ,kein 4 Sterne Standard. Gebucht hatten wir das Silvester-Arrangement,welches mit einem guten Preis—Leistungsangebot punktete. Wir hatten auf eine bessere Frühstücksauswahl am Neujahrsmorgen gehofft,dieses war leider nicht der Fall. Das Personal ( auch das im Eazee) war sehr freundlich,Ein,— und Ausschecken sehr schnell erledigt. Trotz der kleinen Einschränkungen beim Frühstück,würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Hallo ihr Reisenden, das Hotel ist TOP. Wir waren zum 5 ten mal hier. Leider wird das Angebot des Frühstücksbuffets immer schlechter und weniger. Schade. Immer das gleiche. Kein Fisch, kein Kakao für die Kinder...da gibt es besseres..Bsp. Zuiderduin... Aber die Abendgastronomie TOP.

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick ist hell, modern, groß, gut ausgestattet und bietet rund um die Uhr einen sehr schönen Blick mit Meeresrauschen. Der Saunabereich ist angenehm. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Frühstück ist für niederländische Verhältnisse und bei dem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung.

Wij verblijven vaak in Egmond aan Zee in verschillende hotels, maar dit is toch wel onze favoriet. Mooi modern ingericht hotel met ruime schone kamers. Locatie direct aan de boulevard en dus aan het strand. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst zoals ook het overige personeel een prima indruk maakt. Parkeren voor de deur (wel betaald) of op de parkeerplaats van het hotel zelf. Wel is het bij het ontbijt altijd een uitdaging om een plekje te vinden, zeker in drukke tijden. Een aanrader.
