The hotel is really good value for money. Reception area is clean and managed 24 hours a day. The pool at the front of the building was clean but really bit bug enough for the hotel, there was an outside bar but this was closed during our stay bit disappointing as your bot allowed ro bring drinks from outside. There is 2 lifts which are a little outdated and really slow. Our room was on the 7th floor and again was quite spacious, cleaned every day and fresh towels every day, the shower always had lots of hot water. The restaurant isnsituated in the basement of the hotel, again fairly big, but not sure how it copes peak season. Good selection of buffet style food, always well stocked, even Paella was offered... There is a small bar which serves, water, beer and bottles of wine so not much selection but again adequate enough. .The breakfast again lots of choice, and a chef cooking eggs in abundance, the only downfall was all of the "hot" food was stone cold and yiu had to use the microwave. The restaurant staff were really good and very quick at cleaning tables and keeping the area clean. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop pool, and bar which was open from 10am, this was immaculate and the bar staff really good. The view of the sunsets were absolutely amazing. The location Is about a 10 minute walk to the main beach..

Nice, new and modern hotel, with good meals and close to the beach. The only thing I didn’t like is that the rooms don’t have a fridge and they charge you for water at dinner. The hotel has a very nice rooftop terrace with a little swimming pool🩵

A clean and probably fairly recently renovated nice hotel with all the basic functions you could need, (remote control for TV needed a deposit?!). The breakfast buffet was fantastic as well as the dinner buffet in the evening, TWO days with great seafood. We got a room with sun on the balcony basically all day, especially evening sun with sunset. All the staff were pleasant and seemed to enjoy their workplace, which in turn creates a pleasant atmosphere for us who live at the hotel.

Polite and friendly stuff, correct and prompt answers any quastions froum us. The meals was delicious and wide range of food. The cleaning of the room was succesfully and fast. Great locations with several parking opportunities.

Clean, staff are polite, we went in October and it's honestly not been very noisy, it's the standard Spanish noise you get, cars honking or dogs barking from time. Nothing particularly disruptive. It may be noisier in peak season but it is a bit further away from the main ***** from other places so less rabble. They have a sky bar/pool which is quite nice to hang out at, would recommend their sangria. Would recommend basic rooms for only couples or solo people, not so much for friends/relatives. You don't get a whole lot of toilet/shower privacy that you may want it you're staying with someone you aren't so close with. There's a mercadona supermarket nearby, amongst many spar shops too. Breakfast and dinner are decent, they seem to have regular things everyday with some variation. So for breakfast things like coffee/juice, cheeses, bread, meats, salad, hot food like sausage, beans, jam, toast etc. For dinner, it does vary somewhat but there's often staple things like chips,pizza, salad etc, but they'll do things sometimes like seafood. Usually some sort of dessert area too with cakes, ice cream etc. For dinner if you're half board you'll want to go to the counter and order/pay for drinks but they're reasonably priced. The volume will differ depending on how busy/full the hotel is, we noticed some days they had a lot more choice than others. Small gripes but nothing major but good to note - the lifts can be rather slow. They have two small lifts with a max capacity of 4. So it can take a while to get about when it's busy. So might not be ideal for prams, wheelchairs etc if you're a particularly impatient person. Our shower seal is a bit leaky so it was leaking a bit of water onto the floor. But we put a towel down by it to help. Overall a decent place to stay, good value for money. You're well catered for, and honestly don't need to venture far from the hotel if you just want want a lazy one. A kettle in the room wouldn't go amiss.

I requested a top floor room and away from the lift and was given one on the 2nd floor not far from it. I asked on 3 different occasions for a room change as I'm an extremely poor sleeper but to be told each time that the hotel was full. The 3rd time I enquired , 4 rude French guests interrupted and the receptionist decided to answer them, even though she was dealing with me. I told them not to be rude and i was 1st but decided to walk off. The hotel was extremely noisy, thin walls , you can hear other people snoring, breaking wind in their bathroom and toilets moving and water running. Most staff however were friendly. The bed was comfy but rooms a little tired. Food was difficult being vegan but I did have plenty of salad and managed to find other bits to go with it. Food was often cold but I used the microwave to warm it up. The hotel often had German stag or hens staying hence the noise. If you are an insomniac, avoid!!!!!!!!

The Hotel Son Veri is an average hotel. It has good and not so good points. The good points are the staff are all very friendly. The food is ok, very tasty although not always hot but there is a microwave and sometimes food not replenished when it ran out. Not all the food is labelled. There is a bus stop outside the hotel to Palma. The hotel is modern, clean and rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. There is a bar on the roof - the Sky Bar which has lovely views of Palma Bay. You can also get hot snacks there and music is played all the time although probably not to everyone's taste although I enjoyed it. Once a week there is a DJ playing the same type of music which was very popular. The not so good things are as follows. You have to pay for a safe. You have to give a deposit for the key to operate the safe and a deposit for the TV remote control. There are no English TV channels. They are mostly German, French and Spanish. There is no fridge in the room and no kettle. The room itself was adequate and the beds very comfortable,but the toilet is in a glass cubicle, as is the shower and there is a small space by the shower with a basin but no door separating this from the bedroom which seemed a bit odd. So not much privacy. The balcony was small but fine. We were on the 9th floor and overlooked another hotel, the other hotels pool and a school and you could see part of the street. There is a small plunge pool on the roof and another pool off the reception area. There is also a bar there which never opened, even when the Sky Bar was closed due to the weather and we were disappointed not to be able to get a drink anywhere unless you went back down to the seafront which is down a large hill. There is no entertainment at the hotel. There was a Spar shop next door and a restaurant on the corner which wasn't always open. There seemed to be nowhere to just go and get a drink at night and being an older couple to trek back down to the seafront at night was just not going to happen! The resort is down the hill and you can get a mini train to Can Pastilla which is a much better resort. Arenal is a party town for Germans. And there are a lot! There shops are mostly geared for the Germans and there are a lot of kebab shops. You can get a bus to Palma outside the hotel but these tend to be very busy at times. We had hoped to get a connection in Palma for going to other places but we could not find the bus station. It's underground! which we found out too late. Nobody seemed to be able to tell us this. I also had my purse stolen in Palma whilst trying to find the bus station. Overall we made the best of it and it depends what you want from a holiday. I would say if you are young and German that's the place for you.

Very helpful staff and very good level of cleanliness. Very good selection and variety of food for both breakfast and dinner, but some hot food in dishes weren't always warm but tasted great regardless. Couldn't see normal 'black' tea at breakfast, just lots of herbal so bring your own if wanted. Firm stop at 10.30am for breakfast. No water available at dinner so have to buy your own drinks if needed. Roof top bar and pool were lovely, great sunsets. Bus stop just outside for bus 504 to Palma, cathedral worth a visit. Spar shop next door had good fresh sandwiches etc. and cold drink selections but Mercadona 3 mins away is cheaper for water and snacks. 8-10 mins walk to the beach, slight hill on the way back but not an issue. Sunbeds at beach can be busy esp. at weekends so advise getting there by 10.30am or earlier. Standard double room with sea view - great view from 7th floor, firm bed but comfortable, occasional traffic noise but not intrusive, a little smaller than expected, no bedside tables or mini fridge, or kettle for tea/coffee making. Layout a bit odd with sink in main room and then shower/toilet combo but steam not a problem. Frosted glass door on toilet didn't give much privacy so toilets on reception level came in useful! Would happily return.

Room was spotless, beds comfy. Lovely balcony with gorgeous view of sunsets. Roof top bar lovely for an evening cocktail. Pool was quiet. Good selection for breakfast and friendly staff. Lifts were slow at busy times
