Lacasa Apartments Cotillo

Really lovely,very well kept safe apartments. We upgraded to a larger apartment before we travelled and paid €140 extra for the week . Well worth it for more space and overlooking the sea for sunset. Apartment is very well equipped for cooking if needed. Kettle, toaster,filter coffee machine,large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Shower room is large with great shampoo/shower gel. Has large mirror and hairdryer. Living area has air conditioning ,TV( with you tube and Netflix). We used YouTube for sky news as UK channels didn't work. Coffee table and large sofa bed. Balcony has table with chairs,very good size and overlooks the pool. Upper terrace has amazing views ,bath with shower attachment,grass area and 2 nice sun loungers. Many other facilities here ,gym ,games area which are located down stairs. Really lovely quiet place to stay with supermarket near by and a few restaurants

Great accommodation and staff were so friendly and helpful. Easy check in. Will definitely return. Cafes across the road serve amazing coffee and breakfasts. They also do great takeaway sandwiches etc and very reasonable. Local shops good and just a short walk to all the restaurants. Bike hire very close by and hired electric bikes which was a great day. Yes there is building works close by but this did not have any effect on our enjoyment.

Me and husband wanted a chilled laid back holiday and this apartment hit the spot, we booked an apartment with rooftop solarium and it was ideal to catch the sun, I'm sorry but we have no complaints from day 1 to day 10, very close to beach supermarket and a couple of food places, we soon found the bus and popped into corralejo a couple of times, but back to the apartment, poolside lifeguard, reception open with friendly guys on the desk, cleaners always smiled and said hello, no shower or air conditioning problems everything was fantastic and would certainly return to Lacasa

Selfishly, I don't want to say too much about how amazing this place is, as I want it to remain a hidden gem 💎 Pretty sure this place will go viral soon... Mynd Hotels have done a fantastic job and deserve a 5* review. It's the perfect apartment for a stay in a beautiful location.

We stayed in an upper floor apartment with solarium rooftop (4214). As per previous posters reviews, these apartments are in a good location for both the beach, lagoons and the village centre. The rooms and decor are stylish and well equiped if you dont mind buying your own wine glasses and spare coathangers from the local chinese shop (Alladins Cave). There is plenty of room for two people. Our room was cleaned every other day with clean towels, the bed was changed twice during our 9 day stay. The apartments still look new and I would have given the review a solid 5, however we did have some ******* hence the score. Of the ample multi language tv stations, there was no signel for any of the UK tv stations and Netflix didnt work, we reported this twice to the reception, we was informed it was a satellite issue and all rooms was down and that it was getting sorted. Sadly not during our 9 day stay. The village is very sleepy and relaxed there is little happening after 10pm, you therefore look forward to watching the TV with a glass of wine. That said we did manage to cast from Amazon Prime from our phones after we had changed the language settings on the TV. But if you haven't got Amazon Prime or a Netflix account you may be out of luck with the TV. We was fortunate during our stay to have fantastic weather peaking in the mid 30s, of which we needed to use the aircon, unfortunately we didn't deem it any good, we closed all doors as per instructions lowered the temperature but it never really kicked in. The beds are two singles pushed together, we would have preferred a double. The roof top terrace would have benefitted a seating area/bench and small table and maybe some greenery to allow more privacy from the other rooftops. The rooftop bath plug was faulty, the bath didn't seal, the water just trickled away. No chance of a soak. The reception staff are a bit hit and miss, some days they are about, some days not. Overall these are just minor ******* and didn't detract from our enjoyment. But when you pay good money and you look forward to the luxeries, then it is disappointing to not receive them.

Stayed for ten days at the start of February, these apartments look brand new, well equipped and in a fantastic location close to the beach restaurants and shops.The pool, gym and laundry are amazing.The staff are friendly and welcoming, we are returning in April, can’t wait!

Excellent accommodation. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Two TVs in apartment and include main British channels. Only negative was the checking in process. High level security with complicated check in. If you arrive after 4pm reception is closed. Ahead of your arrival you will be sent a detailed form but we weren’t sent a QR code which you need. This is an area that needs improving. Lots of building work’s going on next to apartments so one side of apartments look out onto building site. Nice sea views from front of apartments and lots of good local restaurants within walking distance.

The apartments are very nice, were built recently so nice and modern. If you arrive after 4 the reception is closed but you can use a touch screen to check in. I think a lot had problems with it. We were sent the gate code and room code by Jet2 but arrived just in time. We had a room with a rooftop terrace, with 2 sunbeds and a large bath. I don't know if anyone has used the baths but they are in full view of anyone else on thier terrace so we didn't. There is only a 2 ring cooker and microwave so I think a lot of people eat out at night. A small oven would be a good addition I think. There is also a large fridge freezer,dish washer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. As others have said the rooms are cleaned every other day, brush and mop supplied for guests to use. Initially we were given dish washer tablets but after a few days we got no more. There is a supermarket very close by, a Spar shop about 10 minutes walk away and a larger supermarket about 15 minutes away. El Cotillo is a nice little town, not a lot do do but nice to walk round the bay and harbour area. Quite a few restaurants around. There is a lovely beach called La concha about 15 mins walk away, at the far end there are circular stone shelters from the wind, but that end of the beach is used by naturists mostly, if that bothers you. There is plenty of room for all though. Bus service to Correlejo leaves from behind the coral cotillo beach hotel, usually about 10 to the hour. Was 6.20 euros for 2 single fare. We will definitely return before too long.

We spent a fantastic week at Lacasa / El Cotillo. The apartment block is a small secure development which is spotlessly clean. We have stayed in countless apartments whilst on holiday, but these are clearly the best we have experienced. We had a one bedroom apartment with patio style doors which opened directly onto the pool area. Lacasa is SO SO quiet and chilled. We are aware that some of the apartments are bigger, catering for families, but in our opinion Lacasa and El Cotillo isnt a place for children / teenagers.... dont think anything for them to do. As for El Cotillo, its a lovely Canarian / Spanish style town, which thankfully doesn't have any establishments offering Birtish breakfasts, Sunday roasts etc etc. The numerous amount of restaurants, cafes etc are of Spanish style and we couldn't fault any of the places we frequented. The beaches are lovely but take your own towels etc as there are no sunbeds on the beach. All in all we can't fault our stay, loved the chilled out vibe of El Cotillo and thoroughly recommend the apartments and resort and will be returning.
