Red Roof Inn Elkhart

Rooms were dirty, floor sticky and shower needed to be redone. Location was great, parking good, lots of amenities around the area.

If not for the kind, welcoming, and warm staff that worked this night, my wife and I were denied entry into a hotel for us having 1 too many dogs. I guess exempt for service animals doesn’t mean against the price or even their clear lack

We immediately smelled cigarette smoke as we walked in the room. We always check for bugs first thing and there were none. The bed was comfortable. The microwave and fridge worked fine. There was a spot of rust/mold on the back wall side of the shower. The toilet had low flush power. There was a lady who left her car on and went upstairs, she looked shady, so we stayed in our car until whatever she was doing was done and she left. This almost made us leave even though we had already paid, because we had accidentally driven in the ghetto area of the city while exploring and it was BAD! Very scary!!! The motel next to the Red Roof looked abandoned at first, but it wasn't. Was fine for the 1 night we had already paid for, but won't choose to stay again.

Hotel room seamd dirty. Walls were filthy. Looks like they haven't been painted or cleaned in years. Room smelt like smoke when you walked in. Toilet kept constantly flushing.

The hotel has hard working people and provide a clean environment. Good place to stay on a budget.

This was the second red roof we booked on our trip. Should've cancelled after earlier experience. Again, excellent price and stay if you're a smoker and don't mind the insects, stains, and mold. Desk was able to switch us to second room after we complained about the rooms smelling like an ashtray. It was better than the first, but still had residual smoke. It was only for one night and we got out of there quick the next morning. When did red roof become so poorly managed and maintained?

This hotel is reasonable, you get your money worth. Clerk was very nice and helpful

Mattresses need to be replaced. Terrible. Property needs some help. Rusting fixtures walls dirty. Mold on Ceiling and in Bathroom

Bed bugs attacked us in the room. The carpet was filthy almost as if it need a steam clean. Paint was chipping on the walls also
