Smartflats Design - Place Jourdan

Would avoid staying at this place. There was no hot water. The living area had terrible seats (2 very uncomfortable wooden seats). There was no doors in the place - not even on the bathroom! Contact was impossible with those in charge.

not a good experience. I have never received the email with the access codes. I had to call multiple times the helpdesk to be able to get in the flat. when I finally got in, it was even worse, as I discovered that the bed had not been cleaned, and it was still like the previous guest left it. Even after informing the helpdesk and sending pictures, no solutions were proposed nor anyone even apologized for the situation.

Don’t book these. Staff didn’t send access details, nobody responded to emails or phone. Had to contact ********** and got codes minutes before I got on my flight. Pictures are not necessarily the apartment you get. Facilities listed weren’t there. Flat was falling apart. Pictures taken off walls and just thrown in cupboards. No TV, no bath. Overall really poor experience

It was a a pain in the next to get the information to get into the apartment but the apartment itself was nice. Everyone was always friendly—it just didn’t all work easily.

The worst resting experience ever ! Bad communication even before arrival , took money without telling and never get refunded , the appartement had a zillion problems ( sockets falling out, no light in the bathroom, zero mugs, dangerous staircase). My calls were picked up by some call center , lying to my face all the time, never fixed the problems. Stay away from this place !

Unfortunately, it was not possible to stay at Smartflats - place jourdan, even though this was the place that I booked via **********, so my review will be based in the whole experience with smartflats. I booked this place for 10 nights but the day that I arrived in Brussels, when I contacted Smartflats I was informed then and only then that I could not use check-in in this apartment due to 'technical difficulties' and that they had moved my reservation to a total different location (Madou), which was a smaller apartment and having a view from half of the windows to the wall from another building. Smartflats had the audacity to call this an 'upgrade' moving me from Place Jourdan to Madou and to a smaller apartment with the same price and even tried to hide the fact that it was in a bad neighbourhoud of Brussels (st. josse) by sending me a wrong address stating that it was in Brussels-1000 instead of St. josse 1210. When I confronted the person who send me the information and asked to speak to a manager the communication abruptly was interrupted and I had to go through ********** to complaint. With the intervention of ********** smartflats had promised a 20% refund but they have not honored their promise so far. Furthermore, before my arrival and even though, the terms of the reservation stipulated that smartflats would charge me 150 euros as a guarantee and the rest of the amount upon my check-in, two unauthorized transactions occurred on my credit with the full amount!

I've booked this property via *********** with the address on Rue du Cornet 42, instead they gave me Jourdan 50 (a different address) much further from the point of interest that I had in mind when I chose the one that I have payed for on Rue du Cornet. Very unprofessional, expensive and unpolite. They've sent me from one person to another for 2 days while calling, mailing and sending messages on wapp. with no result. Eventually I've contacted customer support on booking and they've told me they can't accommodate me on that address that I have booked. I've contacted again the property and they gave me no reply. In the end at 21 in the night I've received a mail from booking telling me that the property has cancelled this forcing me to seek for a different place to stay last minute. At least they sent me the money back! This guys are trash!

Do NOT book this property. There is no hot water and the reception does not reply by email and their phone staff are unhelpful. I stayed here for a week and tried to get transferred to somewhere with hot water and they did not. My entire building didn't so everyone else in the building also didn't have hot water, but there's no mention. They said they would fix it but they didn't, so it seems like it's a known issue. DO NOT BOOK

L’équipement décrit sur le site est incomplet : pas de toaster ni de bouilloire ! Impossible à joindre au téléphone et ne répondent pas au mails. Rideau occultant décroché et poignée sur rue cassée . Immeuble vétuste et sale. Pas d’intimité dans la chambre qui est ouverte sur le salon. Ballon d’eau chaude dans la chambre qui fait beaucoup de bruit.
