The hotel is in need of an update. Overall, the hotel is maintained the best it can be with a need for an employee inspecting with an eye for detail. Bathroom: Inside the bathroom, you can see there was water damage from the room above. The repairman's work should have been reviewed better as the faint yellow paint used (or lack of paint, just spackle) doesn't go with the white paint on the rest of the ceiling. (see picture) There is "chipping" of paint on the ceiling inside the shower with a spot that appears to possibly be mold growing inside the peeling paint. (see picture) Room vent: I have a sensitivity to smells/allergies so I travel with an ozone generator to help air quality, and when I choose hotels, I look for hotels that allow you to open the windows or turn the AC unit on to bring in fresh air. Hotels that have units that do not allow fresh air because it recycles the air in the hotel as the unit isn't connected to the outside air, I inspect the vents because 90% of the time the hotel isn't cleaning them and I have gotten sinus infections. This hotel has an AC unit inside the hotel without the ability to bring in fresh air from outside but you can open the windows. I inspected the air vent in the room and it was clean but clearly showed the start of dust build-up and rust. (See picture) Breakfast: The breakfast is the standard Residence Inn brand standard breakfast for Marriott. Room: The room is the newer standard Residence Inn design, needing updates
