Fantastic spot. Clean and very friendly staff. Apar**ent fully stocked with all necessary amenities. Pool was big and no need to book. Within 100 meters of the slopes and ticket shop. We had a great family holiday with a 7 and 9 year old. Quiet at night as well

Was in a 3 bedroom apar**ent (sleeps 7-8 but I would limit this to 6 so you could keep living space clear and there is not much wardrobe space) big balcony, kitchen and living space are nice and spacious. 1 main bathroom and an en-suite shower to one of the bedrooms, all modern and clean. Plenty of plugs sockets around the apar**ent. You do have to make your bed up when you arrive which is similar for most places in Flaine. Beds are firm. You do have to clean the apar**ent, with your own cleaning products at the end of the stay yourself unless you pay extra. Pool and sauna are nice but a little busy at times. Walking distance to nursery slopes and chairs/cable cars up to bigger slopes. Few minutes walk to food shops and restaurants. There is an orange lift a minutes walk away that takes you down to flaine forum where there are several food places. Ski equipment locker room per apar**ent keeps all your equipment together but it is not heated (we put our used hand warmers in the boots at the end of the day to help dry them) Reception were very helpful and friendly, bakery service is a great idea(order the day before for fresh bread/pastries next morning, collect from reception) Overall a great stay 😀 To make the apar**ent better: I would put another mirror in the bedroom or living space as they are only in the bathrooms. Put another door mat by the balcony entrance, so the floor won’t get wet if trodden in snow Have brighter lighting in the kitchen area, we moved a lamp to help with this Fix the squeaky extractor fan in the living space (I wouldn’t be able to sleep in there with it going on) Supply a few dishwasher tablets, as buying a whole box for a few uses is a waste unless you take them home with you

The apar**ents were better than expected after reading the reviews. The location to the slopes is perfect and right next to the ski hire shop. No wifi in the room, only in reception. Also there’s no safety box in the room which I found usual. However we had fresh towels delivered during the stay, plenty fresh clean bedding too. For a week skiing it was decent enough.

Top location, top view, very clean appar**ent, lovely staff. Many irher people need to take a bus to the slopes, here de walk 80m and we are on the slopes. Top! Very nice après-ski view from the big terrace with a beautifull view. We booked an appae**ent for 8p, although we were only 6. So we were very comfortable. We come here since several years, and we will be back next year. Thank tou Claude and team!

The residence Terrasses de Veret is ideally located in the heart of the ski resort. The ski area Grand Massif have stunning views. More of it, especially very dedicated and attentive staff. Meeting Claude and his team is a real pleasure.

Great location next to the ski lifts but basic and wasn’t clean when we arrived with tissue paper and sweet wrappers under bed. Cold unheated boot room so just skis left there and boots taken to room to dry out. Walk to room was along an open frozen corridor exposed to elements so needed to put coat on to walk around hotel. Nothing at all left in kitchen to get on with things so needed to go out and buy tea towels, dishcloth etc. Expensive for what is was. Won’t be returning,

I write this review with a heavy heart. Les Terrasses de Veret is in a prime location not just for Flaine but for the Alps. It’s at 1700m and snow safe. The Grand Massif area in which it lies offers close to 300km of Piste. There is an 8 man chair (Grand Vans) 100m from the building and the residence has a nice swimming pool, Sauna and a Jacuzzi outside on a deck. The beginners area is also 100m away, yet there are plenty of challenging runs for advanced skiers too. The views from the upper floors are to die for. So...what’s the catch? The furnishings are dreadful. In the lounge / diner / kitchen the sofa bed, armchairs and coffee table are massive. You don’t expect huge apar**ents in prime ski locations, but the size of these furnishings makes them almost claustrophobic. If you book a 2 bed apar**ent hoping to sleep 6 (i.e. using the sofa bed) make sure you bring a mechanical engineer with you to set up the bed each night - not simple at all. Also if you like sleep of any description you have a double whammy. The curtains are wafer thin (and covered in nasty stains) so if your room is south facing you will be illuminated all night by the streetlights. Then there are the mattresses...I am not big 5 feet 6 inches tall and 11 stone - I did not get a wink of sleep for three nights at which point I moved to the lounge and slept in an armchair. The mattresses are DREADFUL and would barely support a small child it’s a bit like sleeping on a cardboard box. The staff are lovely and do all they can but I am sure they are inundated with complaints related to the furniture. This should be somewhere people come back to year after year but it is not and it has to be down to lack of inves**ent by the operators. Such a shame.

We've had a very pleasant stay at this accomodation. We rented a 10 person appartement, for our group of 7 adults, so we had plenty of space. I would definitely recommend to book a room that sleeps 2 more people than your party. Because this way no one has to sleep in the living room. The location of this accomodation is really excellent! 50 meters to the closest slopes, lifts and ESF ski school. The supermarket and bakery are a short walk ( 5 minutes). Breakfast can also be ordered at the reception, so you don't even have to leave the bulding to get your breakfast. One downside was the kitchen. This was very small, it was hardly inpossibble to be in the kitchen with more than 1 person at a time.

Booked this last minute for a group of 6 adults to ski. Was a bit nervous having read some of the reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised. Yes accommodation is fairly basic but hot water and heating were plentiful, reception staff were incredibly helpful and flexible with early check in and late check out, location is outstanding with 50m to lifts, very close to bars, restaurants, supermarket etc. and you could order bakery goods to be delivered fresh to reception every morning. I'd definitely book this accommodation again.
