Stayed for one night only. Modern style and looks fairly new, but the varnish is definitely already coming off in places. Found it completely soulless, no service at all, staff were nice enough, the room was claustrophobically small. Like a big city hotel room, anonymous and expensive, not what I am looking for in the mountains. Average breakfast. I will not be back.

Stayed here for four nights. It has a great location right by the bubble lift out of Flims, so just don your ski boots and up the slopes you go. Cannot fault the location. The hotel is in a complex (the Stenna Centre) with shops and a large supermarket if you need anything. Parking was provided in a roomy underground car park at a reduced rate of CH20 per day (compared to CH32) Rooms, which are not particularly large, are darkly decorated which makes the room quite claustrophobic (we looked at a junior suite which was much better, size wise). They have bathrooms that would not be to everyone's taste - they are open to the room with glass partitioning so you can see someone in the shower/on the loo! Our room had a large patio/terrace area outside the room which (if on slope side) got the afternoon sun. Generally the sleep quality was good and the hotel quiet (but it was very empty the week we went). Appears to be understaffed – came back one day to find room not done at 3.15pm - they do say your room should be cleaned before 3.30pm but when a hotel is empty and you vacate at 0930, you expect it to be ready when you return. The one thing we found disappointing was the staff - when we arrived the Reception staff were very unwelcoming and abrupt; in fact we were told not to interrupt! This continued for the first three days; clearly there is an issue in this area and maybe that is because of the attitude/lack of example from senior management. That said on our last day the member of staff on reception was charming and friendly. Food wise, breakfast was average and the only hotel we have stayed in where staff from the Stenna Centre (the complex within which the hotel is situated) and maintenance staff in filthy overalls are eating their breakfast in the hotel restaurant as customers. Not a good aspect!

Fantastic hotel - perfect location, amazing rooms with great facilities, shower is incredible and the view is glorious. The absolute gem is Ildiko the spa therapist who gives the most incredible massage - she’s amazing! Thanks to the Hide for a great couple of days.

Well, given some of the negative reviews and a mistake in our booking, I would say my expectations were rather low. But I’m happy to report that the hotel was really very nice, very clean, and all the staff members that we interacted with were very professional, pleasant and kind. We were originally booked into a 3.5 room apartment, but were changed to a connecting room in the hotel due to a booking error. While I can’t comment on the apartments, the hotel is really nice, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom does have limited privacy, so if that’s important for you, keep it in mind. The breakfast was good quality, with a nice selection of normal breakfast items. You can also order egg dishes if you wish, and I would say that the eggs are actually cooked properly. The location of the hotel is perfect for skiing/snowboarding. From our room we could see the gondola and the Wonderland ski area for kids. Because the hotel is in the Stenna building, there is a Coop grocery store in the same building, which was super nice to grab something from the store without even having to put on our coats. The spa was also really nice, with different steam room options. The only bit I didn’t love was the use of so many air fresheners in the hallway. Maybe just my taste, but I found it a bit strong. I could really recommend The Hide if you want to stay in Flims. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly.
