Relais & Maison Grand Tour

We had a wonderful stay. Satya greeted us and showed us to our room. The room was spacious and beautiful. Well equipped with everything you need. The building was very secure and we were very comfortable in the neighborhood. Location was perfect. Very easy and convenient to all the major sites in Florence. We would definitely stay again.

Great unique place!! In the heart of the city too! Walk to judt about everywhere! Very relaxing place!!! Great owner too! Highly recommended You will feel like your in the country. Love they kept the integrity of the history of the building!

Interesting room details and comfortable enough. Not really a hotel but more of a bedroom apartment. A little gloomy with little natural light though. The area was nice and quiet and close to the centre. Plenty of cafe’s and restaurants close by and a shortish walk from the train station.

This was the perfect place for our family’s stay in Florence. The 2 room suite was a great size. Loved that we felt like we were staying in a home instead of a hotel. Easy walking distance to all the sites of Florence. Ulrike, the owner, lives on site. She was quick to respond to every question and request from restaurant recommendations to reserving taxis, etc. This will definitely be at the top of our list when we return again in the future.

A secret and quiet place in the historic centre, all sights within easy walking distance. Lovingly furnished individual rooms, perfectly clean, nice breakfast café two minutes away. Thank you for the attentive service. We will gladly return!

We loved our stay at Relais & Maison Grand Tour. The hotel is clean, nice sized rooms and staff treat you like family. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to the Duomo and other sites of downtown Florence. Ulrike and her assistant manager Satya went our of their way to help us out with restaurant and taxi reservations. We stayed in the two bedroom suite during our initial stay. It was so nice having the huge living room to plan our day with the other couple we were traveling with. We also stayed in separate rooms on our return stay and loved the large rooms with wonderful Italian charm. Yes, we would definitely stay here again.

A truly great space. Very roomy and comfortable. The staff, Sayta , was excellent and very helpful. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and welcomed. Definitely a place to stay in Florence. Great location.

We travelled with another couple so we each had our own rooms. Our was the “Mirror suite” and very unique. Queen bed, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Single door opened to a small outside courtyard area with tables and chairs. The air conditioning wasn’t working as well as we had hoped (barely blowing air) and with no windows, we had to open the door in the middle of the night to circulate air in the room. If we were better acclimated to heat, we likely would have slept better. Certainly during a cooler part of the year, this wouldn’t be an issue. The hostess was great in assisting us with dinner recommendations and let us store our luggage on the final day until we were ready to depart. The train station is only a 20 minute walk (even with dragging luggage) and the Duomo was only a 10 minute walk away. Perfect location to all the attractions of Florence! The street was quiet. Even with the door open at night.
