Hotel Toscana

BAIT AND SWITCH, disgusting hotel, mosquitoes flying around, rude concierge, STAY AWAY! I came here with my newborn and my wife was recovering from a broken ankle so we intentionally only book hotels with an elevator for the stroller. This hotel advertises an elevator but the elevator is only accessible from the lobby which is one stair flight from street access so you have to take the stairs to get to the elevator. Yes normally I wouldn't care but when I tried to explain to the concierge that I can't carry my stroller up the stairs and help my wife with her crutches, the concierge simply said "sorry we can't change the building" and refused to refund my money. He then started getting rude with me and laughed at me saying good luck getting your money back. He marked us as a no show because we ended up going to another hotel and when I complained to the online travel agency we booked through, they said that Hotel Toscana refused to answer their emails and phone calls and would not authorize a refund. We lost the entire cost of our stay and had to book another hotel with a last minute rate at very high prices.

Overall, for a short stay, absolutely fine. The location is excellent, close to all of the attractions, food and atmosphere. The pub next door is small but amazing. The actual hotel is within a block, once you get passed the awful dark corridor, it is on the second floor behind a secure door. It is clean, tidy basic but comfortable, AC and excellent Wi Fi. My only issue is the lack of presence, if there was a problem with the key or an issue with anything there was no one. The room has a kettle but no teaspoon ( minor I know but worth knowing) . I recommend here for short break for a couple.

Liked · Very good location very close to the center. even though I didn't meet any of the staff, everything was arranged by them in order for me to have no issues at all in finding the keys at that late time that I arrived. Disliked · The sink was very tiny, and you couldn't wash yourself without dropping water on the floor, definitely uncomfortable and a little risky as you could hurt yourself on the glass of the mirror.

If there was any way for providing a negative star rating I would. The absolute worst accommodation i have EVER stayed in, Paid premium money approx 1000EUR for 5 nights to stay and with no exaggeration, the bed was as hard as the floor!!! attempted on 2 occasions to work with the hotel to have this resolved to simply swap a mattress, change rooms anything... but I was told to shut up and put up with it and nothing would be done. I was staying with my elderly mother which had a "normal" mattress the other 4 were ridiculously hard. stayed one night and i had t seek medical attention to put my back and hips back in alignment. I asked for a refund and we would leave and was refused. After 45min of a horrible discussion and a threat of legal action i was "offered" a full refund. I had to pay another 1000EUR to stay at another hotel. They offered no assistance and told me to stop complaining. I requested they come and laid down on the bed and they refused.. Though out the complaint they were fully aware of the beds were not acceptable. told "well i like so why are you complaining" appalling and disgusting service. DONT NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! you will be sorry

I lati positivi di questo Hotel sono: - La posizione, molto comoda per chi arriva in treno e per chi vuole girare la città. - La pulizia e i servizi delle camere che, se pur piccole, erano ben pulite, silenziose e con tutto funzionante. - La possibilità di poter accedere al hotel 24 ore su 24 con comodi codici per il portone e l'ingresso al hotel stesso. Mentre secondo me c'è da migliorare per quel che riguarda: - Le camere sono un po' piccole per quanto le si paga, anche perché non ci sono molti servizi che secondo me giustificano il prezzo così alto, posizione a parte. - In camera c'è un bollitore con due tazze, ma non sono presenti delle bustine di thè: forse non le ho trovate io, o forse bisogna port****le da casa.

Hotel centrale (punto a favore la posizione) ma anche in una via tranquilla. Si tratta in realtà di due piani in un vecchio edificio. Le camere sono nuove (letto e cuscino molto comodi) ma allo stesso tempo poco curato nella pulizia (le porte del bagno sporche di fondotinta e abbiamo trovato una camicia da uomo dentro l’armadio). Però lo consigliamo comunque per la pulizia, siamo di norma molto pignole su questo. Comunque i due ragazzi gestori sono stati molto gentili. Il rapporto qualità prezzo considerato il ponte del 2 giugno anche molto buono. Per due / tre notti con un’amica va benissimo.

Essenziale Pulito e silenzioso. Centrale. A due passi dalla stazione e dalla cattedrale. Self hotel . Anche con spazi comuni Bagno completo: salviette shampoo e bagnosciuma. C'e il phon. ma Manca abatjour !!! Singola mignon. Tv in camera

Tiene su baño propio la habitación, es limpio, buena ubicación con todo lo necesario. Me gustó y son muy amables en recepción. Tiene aire acondicionado. Queda cerca de la estación de trenes y autobuses.
