Cute hotel, we got upgraded to an en-suite, lovely room with a balcony. The room is located on top of the reception using a spiral stairs. Room with good air condition. Will be staying again next time

Fuimos a pasar las Navidades a Florencia y pasamos allí el fin de año. El Hotel es espectacular, decoración clásica y atención al detalle. Servicio de habitaciones, recepción, todo excelente. Si el salón del desayuno está completo, los 5 minutos de espera los haces en otro salón, tomando un café con pastas, sentado en uno de los muchos sofás, y si quieres puedes ojear libros de escultura, pintura etc.

had a 4 night stay at the hotel which is in a lovely historic building. We only had a standard room which was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a few nights. the communal area is lovely and the breakfast was extremely good. the hotel is very centrally located for all the sites and the Hard Rock Cafe is located on the ground floor if you are too tired to walk far fo eat. there are also lots of good italian eateries in the surrounding area. i would stay here again

The room was not as advertised. We have 4 beds in one large room - it was supposed to be two separate rooms, I hear this happens often. The property was in a great location, and Florence is very walkable from here. However, it is on a square and our room faced the square with music blasting until 1 AM on a Monday night and until midnight on a Tuesday night. We won't stay here again.

We got a good deal in February on ******* for about $123 per night. I think this price was reserved for the attic rooms as we were shown a steep tiny winding staircase to get to the room. A porter had to bring our bags as it is near impossible to take luggage up the staircase. The room was clean, had a balcony in which you could see the top of the Duomo and bell tower nearby. The downside is the staircase, but again, I think that was for the “special ******* price”. I believe their normal rooms are about $60 more. The breakfast was good and you can’t beat the location. Another downside is that our room smelled extremely musty. Very noticeable. I would give a higher rating if it were not for them smell. The staff was very good and helpful. If you park a car, it’s essentially a valet service and convenient. We paid 36 euro a night for car parking.

Great historic property at the heart of Florence. Facilities and staff great, especially the kitchen staff and room cleaning services.
The only grumble would be the small size of the standard double room.
All in all a great stay.

Excellent property in a great location. Lost one star as our room faced the main square which randomly had sudden loud karaoke or organised singing throughout the day and night including early hours. Great breakfast, helpful, efficient staff. I would recommend, and would stay again, but would check the planned noise in the square or request a non-square facing room.
