We stayed here for two nights. It's a pretty 1901 Victorian house located in a nice area of historic homes just a 5 minute drive from Frederick's vibrant downtown. There are four guest rooms, all on the second floor. We got off to a bad start here in that we were by mistake initially put in a room which was not the one we had reserved, and not as nice. But the error was caught quickly, and we moved to the spacious Queen Anne room we had reserved---and everything was just fine after that. As long-term B & B veterans, we feel that the experience is always better when the innkeepers are engaging (live on site, are with you at breakfast, etc.). And Betty and Phil didn't disappoint here. We appreciated getting to know them, and had lively conversations. The breakfasts included creative casseroles, fruit, etc., and were very good. Our room had a king bed, nice period furniture (two wing chairs), and a small flat screen TV. The bathroom was tiny, as the sink is actually in the bedroom. But the bathroom had a good walk-in shower, and we prefer this type of shower. Be aware that some rooms have a claw foot tub, which some people (including us) don't like. Unlike many of the B & B's we've stayed in, this room had good lighting. No issues at all with the room. Parking is in a dedicated spot in back of the house, and you can also park on the street in front of the house---no problem. We had a nice stay at this traditional B & B---everything you hope to have in a B & B experience.
