Friday Harbor House

We hadn't been to Friday Harbor House in a while. The hotel was under different management at that time. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the current management is doing a wonderful job. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. We will be back soon.

We absolutely loved our stay here to celebrate my birthday weekend. The customer service was amazing! They went above and beyond to help us out since I brought my birthday cake with us, and they kindly offered, without us asking, to store it in their large kitchen fridge since it wouldn't necessarily fit in our tiny room fridge. That left a lasting impression on us and made our whole trip. One of the concierge members then took it upon herself to bring us one of the chef's personal knives so we could cut my birthday cake later that evening. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch for the concierge to think outside the box and go out of their way to accommodate us. I appreciated the service here so much! The views from their outside patio garden are gorgeous and peaceful, you can watch the ferry boats and water planes coming in and out of the harbor while hearing the small birds hangout. The fire pits were poppin' in the evening, and everyone was having a good time just chatting away while all retreating around 10ish for quiet hours. Everyone here was very respectful and classy. The hotel provides snacks on the third floor for both evening and morning, and at least our room had a giant hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed--we loved that they provided us with robes as well. You can't go wrong with this hotel. We loved our stay and will be back for sure. We will also hopefully try their kitchen and bar next time.

The harbor view rooms are the best in Friday Harbor. And the only thing better than the views, are the staff. The attention to detail, food and overall vibe make this the top pick.

Stayed here for a quick girls weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The room was super cozy with a gas fireplace in the room. The evening we arrived it was rainy so the fireplace was a huge hit while we watched the sunset over the water from the windows. They offer complimentary snacks and beverages and have complimentary in room pour over coffee, tea and oatmeal that you can make with an in room tea kettle. Room was clean and spacious and the front desk staff was very helpful. An easy 5 stars for me!

This property is an amazing place with gorgeous views and a staff that treats you like family! Tara and Becca greeted us with a warm sincere arrival and the rooms were stunning with views of the harbor and ferry, comfortable beds, fireplace and deep soaking tub. We had dinner in the restaurant which had a great variety of seafood, and vegetarian options and fabulous service by Nomi with great recommendations. Molly the assistant General manager worked with me on setting up the perfect stay before we arrived and took care of all the details! My mother (who is 80) and I choose this location for a mom-daughter holiday trip, and our stay was simply wonderful surrounded by the amazing accommodations, stunning backdrop and superb team!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I received a text message from Friday Harbor House prior to our arrival asking what time we expected to arrive so the room would be ready. I replied with what time our ferry was leaving Anacortes so they would know when to expect us. When we arrived the temperature in the room was 52 degrees in November. We couldn't get the fireplace to work properly. Staff was quick to look at it but we still couldn't get it to work properly. Part of the reason I selected this hotel was it was close to the ferry terminal and had a fireplace. I reminded them of the temperature and fireplace issues when we checked out but they weren't willing to adjust our charges. I will NOT stay here again and won't recommend it to friends.

Great location with an amazing view of the harbor. Super comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower.

We stayed one night to explore SJI. Room 11 did not disappoint. We had a lovely view, ample room space, a comfy bed, jetted tub and overall great amenities.

Great location, charming staff and wonderful meals. Loved the hidden speakeasy within walking distance: The Top of the Town!
