A FABULOUS week in a friendly perfect located hotel. Everything needed for a wonderful holiday in Madeira. 5 star views, location, swimming pools, housekeeping, service and peace and quiet when needed. Book a sea or pool view room if you are planning to relax at the hotel. Remember Madeira should be explored, the Island has so much to offer. If you plan to be out and about exploring the leading in room type will be fine, however for relaxing and special views with a peaceful atmosphere book sea view. Towels and pool towels all provided in the nice sized and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is very handy, improvise when you need to my husband made toast and scrambled egg in the frying pan 😋 we had fruit tea yogurts sandwiches and wine. No need to cook as so many amazing restaurants bars and even street food venue under the Savoy with all styles of reasonable food to eat in or take away. A deli opposite serves coffees and cakes. Helena and the team will take care of you but you have to let them know if you need anything. Overall a fabulous place to stay and enjoy Funchal, Obrigada

Now I’m here in this hotel and I must say that it is absolutely not a 5 star one. First of all it needs a renovation. Cleaning is good but a room has not such things of a 5* as: a cattle, a vanity set, body lotion and others toilet things. Empty mini bar. Water: they give you just a bottle per person in a day of check-in. Breakfast: I would like to say about women who make omelets, they behave like as I came to their home and asked about an omelet. Absolutely inhospitable behavior. Coffe is a very low quality. Some drinks like cappuccino and latte are made of instant coffee. Juices are from a pocket. Generally breakfast is not bad, but requires higher quality of products. Advantages: Nice park and the pools area. Beautiful view. Very good location.

Nice little studio with just enough room for 3 people, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, plates etc), and a fine bathroom. Balcony with chairs and table. Fantastic breakfast at the hotel 2 minutes away and access to pools etc at the hotel as well. Reception staff at the hotel kindly helped us recommending and calling a company organising levada walks (very nice levada walk, well organised, so good recommendation). The location is optimal, walking distance from Funchal city centre with shops and sights, and at the same time right at the harbour front with fantastic views. A special thanks to Helena at the reception at the studios for help, when a family member was sick.

We had 10 nights self catering at this hotel and we had a wonderful stay. Although the kitchen was basic we were able to cook lovely breakfasts & evening meals using wonderful local ingredients. Everything was very clean & we had daily maid service. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The location is perfect for strolling into Funchal & being able to use the facilities at the Pestano ****** Hotel was the icing on the cake. We were very lucky to get a room overlooking the pool & with a sea view. Madeira is beautiful & we will go again & definitely stay here again. PS make sure to take a corkscrew for the excellent value bottles of local wine & if you intend to cook also a sharp knife lol

We had a great stay and all the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Iolanda at reception. It's an ideal location as the main part of Funchal is not to far away and there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. The rooms were well equipped with everything you needed.

Excellent room and staff were very approachable and helpful. Room cleaned daily to a high standard and towels also changed daily. Have full use of ****** Park hotel facilities which are amazing. Breakfast is 11 euros in the hotel and would not eat breakfast anywhere else as the buffet had everything you could possibly want.. the views from the pools were also amazing..

Stayed here for the most 2 wonderful weeks in the sunshine. Studios were absolutely nice and modern and very clean. All staff was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay there. This will probably be my go to place every time I got back to Madeira.

Weeks holiday decided to go self catering as we prefer to eat out in local restaurants. Apartments in a great location, just above centre and harbour. Bakery and nice restaurants just across road. Sister hotel which access was included just across road had excellent pool and more than ample sunbeds. Smashing view across harbour/marina. Small pool and sunbeds at apartments were really nice but sun came round later. Staff at apartments were really nice especially Helana, who was more than happy to help and give advice. I noted some previous comments on poor catering facilities, they were more than ample for breakfast (who goes on a foreign holiday and wants to cook a full meal!? Get out and enjoy the local culture! 😀) On that point the Taberna Ruel is well recommended, my lovely wife Elaine was well smitten with the head boy 😀. Apartments well recommended.
