Loved this property as I suffer from fragrance allergies and when I walked in to the room there was no strong chemical or fragrance smells. It was heaven. Really clean

The staff was professional and friendly! They answered any questions we asked. Great location!!! Will definitely stay at Harbor House when we cruise again!!!

Walked off the cruise ship and walked right over to the hotel. For $20 they let us check in hours early to be able to drop our bags and explore the strand area. Fantastic location and very nice and clean.

Great location within easy walking of the Strand area of Historic Downtown Galveston and also an easy walk (with luggage) to the cruise port terminal for Carnival (not easy walking to Royal Caribbean - that would require transport). Hotel does also offer a port shuttle option.
Continental breakfast included in cost.
Great view of the port area from Harbor view rooms.

My stay at the Harbor House started with a phone call from their front desk to confirm my stay and if I’d need parking for my cruise . I declined the parking but did inquire about signing up for the shuttle to take me over to the cruise port. Upon arrival I was greeted with the friendliest front desk staff. She checked us in and let us know breakfast is served in the morning at 7 and gave us our shuttle pass. We got a room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the port where our ship came in the next morning.

We love staying at the Harbor House. The location is great for walking the Strand and plenty of options for eating. The view of the harbor can’t be beat, especially for great sunsets. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating is that we upgraded to a suite and the couch was a bit worn out and not comfortable at all. Overall a nice place and we’ll be back.

Easy check in process and place is super quiet and clean. Huge rooms with equally spacious bathrooms. Very convenient for cruisers.

Great location for shopping on the strand & close to Royal Caribbean & Carnival ports. Dee was great at the front desk. She gave me a great room with a view!
