Summit Golden Crescent

My stay at the Golden Crescent Himal Shree Hotels & Resorts from May 29th to 31st was nothing short of a nightmare. What was promised as a luxurious escape turned into a series of disappointments and frustrations. Firstly, I was assured a bigger deluxe room at the time of booking. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to be given the smallest room available. To add insult to injury, I was charged for a suite room, which was completely outrageous. When I approached the hotel manager to rectify this issue, I was met with sheer rudeness and impoliteness. The manager not only refused to acknowledge the mistake but also argued incessantly, showing a complete disregard for customer service. Despite the clear error, they charged me an exorbitant rate and offered no discount or compensation for the inconvenience caused. The breakfast experience was equally appalling. The quality was pathetic, with minimal variety and poor hygiene standards. The food looked unappetizing and tasted worse, making it a dreadful start to each day. Overall, my experience at Golden Crescent Himal Shree Hotels & Resorts was horrendous. The mismanagement, poor hospitality, and substandard amenities made my stay unbearable. I strongly advise against staying here if you value your money, time, and peace of mind. This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry.

This was the worst experience I had on my 7 day trip in Sikkim. Made a booking through agoda a month ahead of time. After reaching the hotel, they said they never received the booking. The receptionist said he was going to speak to Swapna who takes care of the reservation. She mentioned that the reservation was not seen in system and transferred the call to her supervisor. This *** was such a terrible person who lacks empathy and doesn’t watch the tone of his words. Very rough with customers. He ended up saying I will cut the call in 2 seconds, you can speak to whichever number you want since you did not pay the money to my pocket. I am quite surprised how do we have such people where tourism is really very big in the state and tourists love to visit over and over. This person needs coaching on handling customers.

4.5 out of 5. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice staff with smiling faces. Stayed for 3 Nights. Rooms have all wood interior for colder nights. Foods served are tasty and affordable. Located a little away from MG Road and within the local neighborhood, makes it quiter place to stay from the hustle of City center.

Overall experience was very good. Property is located at the centre of town. Food served at restaurant is very good and staff Renuka,Sumitra,Rinchen and pushpa made our day serving with great smile. Restaurant service is excellent

Best hotel to stay in gangtok there restaurant service team was superb, All the staff Specially MS, Puspa , She was really good at hardworking ,She was always have Smiling face for the guest, and the food served in a restaurant was also good 👍 We Will definitely visit this hotel next time..

Excellent stay within budget. Very professional & helping housekeeping staff especially Neha & Rabika. They were well spoken and reponded well in cleaning and maintaining the room. Spacious room with great balcony view.

Amazing service, all the staff were friendly and professional, restaurant serves great food in no time, worth the price. And the view of beautiful clouds and mountains ❤️❤️ the location was very convenient to anywhere else, they can arrange cab service and sightseeing too

Great hospitality, great service and overall good food too. I would also like to thank every staffs of hotel for making my solo trip into a memorable one. Would like to add that rooms we're too good.
