Inselhotel Faakersee

The customer service at this hotel was terrible! To simplify to a couple words "They didn't give a s***". 1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had to get another hotel or sleep in the car. Terrible communication from the hotel. 2. One of the beds had stains, dirt and hair. It took 4 calls to the front desk for them to send someone to change the sheets. 3. The check-in process was terrible, we were not notified about any of the amenities that were included in our stay at the property. 4. The front desk service and restaurant service was terrible. The restaurant staff took more than 15 min to come to the table. We had paid for half board and they did not notify us of the extra options other than the buffet that were also included (eggs, pancakes). They even overcharged us on one of the bills. Overall, it was a terrible experience and the service was horrible.

Ik ben erg gastvrij en zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Het hotel ligt echt heel erg mooi. Ik ga hier zeker terugkomen. Ik kan dit erg fijne hotel iedereen aanbevelen. Op hun eigen website is goed te zien en te lezen wat ze allemaal te bieden hebben. Het is echt top.

Wir waren jetzt an mehreren Wochenenden am Faakersee mit dem Standuppaddel unterwegs und haben immer einen Abstecher in der Louge des Inselhotel gemacht Heute waren wir wieder dort, so wie gestern auch! Wir haben unsere Bords angelegt und uns etwas zum trinken bestellt und wurden doch sehr unfreundlich von dem Chef angesprochen, wie wir auf die Idee kommen unsere SUPs dort anzulegen!! Gestern waren dort mindestens 20 Bords und das hat keinen interessiert! Es ist weder ein Schild noch ein Hinweis dort, dass man diese dort nicht anlegen darf! Ich weiss nicht, ob man so mit zahlenden Gästen umgeht, zumal heute dort nichts los war, Wir haben dann erfahren das er heute „eh“ gut aufgelegt war, dann möchte ich nicht wissen, was er dann einem schlechten Tag macht! Uns kam der Chef sehr arrogant vor und wir werden dort nicht mehr zukehren!

In den letzten 3 Jahren hier Urlaub gemacht. Ein wunderbarer See, eine phantastische Insel, eine sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage, was wünscht man sich mehr ? Gutes Essen ! Es mangelt an nichts. Nur am Essen. Gäbe es hier einen richtigen, engagierten Koch, wäre das Inselhotel am Faakersee einer der raren Geheimtipps. So ist es leider nur Mittelmaß. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder.

Prenotiamo una suite vista lago e ci ritroviamo in una camera doppia vista alberi parco ( di cui allego foto), in camera manca il frigobar. Le struttura è sprovvista di ascensore e condizionatori ma va bene perché è una struttura storica. I pavimenti sono in legno coperti di moquette molto rumorosi e scricchiolanti. Per il prezzo non vale assolutamente la pena. Se proprio volete dormire 1 notte sull’isola del lago vi consiglio di spendere meno prendendo una doppia con balcone, quelle hanno sicuramente la vista lago. Le ragazze sono molto gentili. Altra pecca al check out abbiamo trovato la strada che esce dal parcheggio chiusa per una maratona, in reception non ci hanno detto nulla, risultato: 1 ora in auto ad aspettare di andare via. Ah la mezza pensione è d’obbligo nella prenotazione ma le bevande sono escluse e una bottiglia di acqua da 75 cl costa 5,90€! Insomma una fregatura da prendere 1 volta.
