One of the best that I ever stay. I am not sure how long this hotel been here, but it's well maintained, good standard hotel.
Kettle, hair dryer, iron, iron board all are in the room.

New hotel but breakfast not many varieties. But the unacceptable thing is the very strong smell of sewage when you feel it on the veranda. This smell is felt around the hotel and even around other buildings. The Penang government needs to take seriously the issue of sewerage with the poor condition of the city.

Having reviewed many hotel options in Penang available through Trip.com, we decided to select Victoria Garden Hotel despite there were a few remarks posted earlier. We were glad to have made the right choice for a cozy, nice boutique sort of hotel with clean comfortable and secured room. Staff were very friendly. It was a pleasant stay for us. We have taken some pictures to show what we experienced.

The room was nice and comfortable, overall fairly clean, and the soundproofing was acceptable. The hotel staff were generally friendly.
Although the Malay lady at the front desk didn't seem friendly at first glance, she still maintained a friendly attitude while helping us check in. The hotel's location is convenient, close to many attractions and easy to walk around.
However, when we checked in, there seemed to be a problem with the hotel's system, and we were given already-occupied rooms twice in a row, which delayed our schedule a bit. Overall, it was still a good experience.

Love this hotel. I guess this hotel is new but idk. Very clean. My room is big than i thought. Love the interior of this hotel. I love when there is big bottle for shower and shampoo. Overall Im very satisfied and will repeat to stay here for next staycation. There is a parking building near this hotel. No need to worry where to park your car. Pls stay here. Very nice and they have good spot for ootd.

Great location to stay in George Town! We were near the esplanade where festivals were happening and we could easily walk there and to the jetties too! Room was clean and comfortable too!

So far so good. Dont expect much. Staff is okok. But i dont know why no wifi available for us. N i dont know why, 3am in the morning fire alarm rang. N we call to receiption nobody pick up, n corridor nobody come out, n we go down lobby ask, the person say might because someone smoke in room, they need to check, so we just ok n back to room continue sleep.
