Almhof Family Und Wellness Resort

The perfect holiday! We wanted to have a place where the kids are valued guests and felt seen and heard, such a great personnel from the front desk to the cleaning crew! The kids loved the buffet dinner, and definitive plus that it started earlier than the grown ups dinner service. Our kids were able to move in the hotel by them selves to the playroom, but we also did use the kidsclub during dinner after the kids had finished their dinner. We were not so fortunate with the weather, but soon noticed that there is so much to do also indoors that the weater was not relevant. All in all 10/10 and just what we wanted and needed!

Great service overall, excellent location and food. Great attention to detail on creating enjoyable and interactive experience for the kids and parents such as the vital bar, black board in restaurant. Very good snow cover on the peaks for skiing and we had some fresh snow whilst there.

Wow! We had an A M A Z I N G vacation ! World class staff, all facilities are maintained in the highest level, cleanliness got score of 10, food was great and all services just kept us smiling for the entire time. Thank you very much for unforgettable time❤️

We traveled from the U.S. True all-inclusive family ski vacations are rare in the U.S. Our 6 year old daughter was in heaven with all of the activities geared towards children and this allowed us to have some relaxation and time to ourselves. The ski school was fantastic and a fraction of the price. The entire staff was exceptional and very welcoming! The accommodations, food and hotel amenities were wonderful. Highly recommend!

This hotel is worth it... Staff - all excellent, from the reception, cleaners, waiters as well as the people in the kids club. Food - Buffet was excellent, with plenty of salads/starters options. Breakfast plentiful too. You get your own table for the week, as all the hotel guests can eat in one sitting. Bar - very nice area to hang out Rooms - perfect size with great powerful shower. Ski room - massive, and not so hot Pool - Wow! Location - Bus stop is near the hotel and the ski room is right by the slopes Can't really find anything too negative to say... Would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly, and could well come back.

We stay in Almhof Family resort , every year for our Christmas holidays since 2011. We enjoy it so much that every time we book our stay for next year. Kammerlander Family and their staff provide the highest quality service with passion and love. It's the best holidays for our children who are now 10 and 16. We love the food, the cosy atmosphere, the exquisite spa. We are looking forward to go back next year.

This hotel is fantastic, especially for a family ski holiday. The best way I can sum it up is that it's the best 4-star hotel you will find. We've stayed in numerous 5-star family hotels throughout Austria and wouldn't say it's quite at that level, but as a 4-star, it's the best you'll find and well worth the fee they charge. The hotel is very family-friendly and well set up to cater to children of all ages. The family that owns it is regularly seen around the hotel and clearly keeps an eye on the quality whilst aspiring to improve their offering. The staff are friendly, warm and helpful and do their best to assist however possible. The food is excellent for a 4-star; you certainly won't go hungry, and there is plenty of variety. We stayed for 8 nights, and the staff learned our food and drink preferences quickly, making our meal times easy, enjoyable and customised. The pool facility is very modern and looks great. The kids loved it, and it was easy to relax, with lovely views. The wellness tower (spa) has stunning views and lovely relaxation areas, making for a fantastic 'parents' getaway while the kids are entertained in the kids club. The hotel integrates seamlessly into the ski school, meaning my wife and I could easily ski alone every day. Having a representative from the ski school at the hotel reception made booking and amending lessons easy. The skiing in Gerlos is fantastic; I absolutely loved it. We were fortunate with the weather and the amount of snow. We were treated to stunning views and great fun on the slopes daily. It's easy to drop the kids at the kids club, they then take them to their lessons, and then we took the free bus to the main gondola station. A fantastic touch is the hotel gives you vouchers to use at some of the restaurants on the ski slope, meaning you don't have to pay. Having a small practice slope at the hotel is a great touch and helped me develop my skiing when not on the main slope, and the kids enjoyed sledging there. I have 3 boys, and they loved the trampoline park at the hotel, they spent hours there in the evenings. I would definitely return to Almhof, especially during the ski season.

The most fantastic place we've ever been to, the hotel and staff were incredible, chef Frank is a total God! The food and facilities were outstanding 👌 just the most beautiful experience, absolutely everything is catered for, and there is nothing that the staff can't help you with, so accommodating and so nice, there is absolutely nothing to fault. We cannot wait to come back again and it will be the first place I will recommend to everyone I know, love Almhof love Gerlos ❤️

We booked this as a family of four, one 10 month old and one almost four year old. I wasn’t sure what to expect as a family from the UK, as most guests seem to be German speaking but I have to say we had the best experience at the Almhof. Everything is designed for the kids, they’re not an add on to an adult experience. We felt very well looked after and the facilities are excellent. We used the kids club for our baby to sleep and have short plays but our son wasn’t keen on going. No fault of the staff who were lovely! There are two soft plays for the kids, three pools, super fun water slides not to mention the trampoline park! There is an excellent outdoor space with go karts and a playground and the kids club put on lots of activities that you can dip in and out of. Things we discovered whilst there… they will wash and sterilise your baby bottles for you, just leave them by the bar. There are washing machines in the basement and there is also a guest kitchen in the basement which has a microwave. This is useful when you need to warm a baby bottle early in the morning and want to leave your other family sleeping! You can borrow buggies and baby carriers for the kids, just take them and return. I’d like us you have a Nanit baby monitor, don’t bother taking it as it won’t work with the guest Wi-Fi. There is a baby listening service where you leave the phone off the hook and it’ll call your mobile if there’s any noise in the room. Food was generally really good for both the adults and the kids. I did find the kids food a bit salty sometimes, especially given the Uk guidance on salt. I also think there is a bit of a gap for babies who are not on purées but who need plainer food. That being said we asked for fresh plain veggies and they were cooked quickly for us. Our son loved the endless fountain drinks. Wine and cocktails are good and very reasonable We would love to return as we had as relaxing a time as is possible with two small kids. The adults only spa tower is beautiful if you can get rid of your kids to use it!! The local area is stunning, rent a car and go to the Krimmler waterfalls and the Rosenalm gondola. The rollercoaster is fun and the amazing adventure playground on the mountain is insane! Also we had some issues in getting to the hotel (cancelled flight) and they were very helpful and accommodating. Just go, it’s brilliant!
