Πέτρινο Χωριό(Stone Village Hotel Apartments)

Usually, I do not make reviews wherever I go, but this is a necessity in order to warn everybody. 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗥𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠!!!! Before I get to the main point, I wanted to outline the fact that till the last day, when my girlfriend and I encountered the RAT, everything was pretty normal. So, first of all, when we arrived at the location, the son of the owner of the hotel greeted us and took us to our rooms. At the first glance, everything seemed ok, but after we started to empty our bags, we noticed that under our bed there was a lot of dust and a damp smell came from the closet. We overlooked these, because the cleaning lady came the next day and wiped the dust. Also, just as a side note, the cleaning lady came only 2-3 times in 7 days, and the bed sheets where changed only once:). Even though, we saw some bad reviews regarding the food, we were pleased by it, because we are not so pretentious. It was enough for us. Every morning there were scrambled eggs and some cheese, ham, jam, milk and cereal, vegetables. In the evening, the food was different every day, and there were 2-3 options to choose from. Once again, as I mentioned before, the food was very tasty and good. Now, coming back to the room, I will start by saying that the bathroom was very old, and in the first 2 days, we had to talk with some guy that worked there in order to have hot water, but then the rest of the days was fine. Also, because the bathroom was very damped and wet after we took a shower, every day we had to clean the bathroom of slugs:) and it became very disgusting at some point, as there were 2-3 at the same time in the bathroom and in the bath tub (see the photos). Now, the room was fine, but there were some small black things, which we thought were some larvae, as the roof was made out of wood (eventually, in the last night we googled it and figured it out that it was rat poop (again, in the photos) ). We took care of the "larvae", but it kept appearing more and more. In the last night, we went to bed at around 12pm, as we had the transfer bus to the airport at 5:30am, next morning. But, at around 1am, I heard some noises coming from the TV, and when I opened the lights, there it was: 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗥𝗔𝗧!!! We ran straight out of the room and called the owner, because after 11pm, there was nobody at the reception:) I told him there was a rat in our room and he told me that he will sent his son, but he will arrive in 20-30 minutes, as they stay far away. After he arrived, he tried to dodge us and just give us another room. But we could not let him slide like that and said everything that we had to tell, at 1:30am:). He said that he can not do anything, just to give us another room. Of course we didn't want to stay in another room, especially since we noticed rat poop on the floor there too. We left our bags and waited for the next three hours on the terrace until the bus came to take us to the airport. The owner's son seemed to me to have a learned speech, the one he gave u

It's a tourist trap. Due to the vegetation and the stone houses, it looks like a beautiful location, but in fact things are just the other way around. I think the following things/services could be improved. Some examples would be: the heavy smell in the rooms - aired more often, replacing the extra armchairs as beds with real beds, changing the light bulb in the refrigerator in the room, cleaning the rooms daily because there are ants, spiders and house centipedes. Daily replenishment of toilet paper and shower accessories would be a nice thing to happen. At breakfast and dinner there was a heavy smell that sometimes greeted you upon entering. The cake cover is torn and dirty, the cereal jars are dirty, the cutlery and plates are sometimes dirty, the napkins are given with the portion, the coffee is more of a tea, the water dispenser can is old, and the food should be diversified. There was no zoo, just a few rabbits, 2 cats, a few turkeys, a horse and a pony, and the setting was sad and dusty. There are also owls that fly around the yard in the evening and catch mice. Unfortunately, the swimming pools are without water recirculation, and the playgrounds I saw were closed, probably to be renovated. The staff is apparently friendly until you call their attention that things are not ok. I am convinced that this location can look better and be at least 3 stars.

Don't get carried away buy the pictures.? This hotel is a joke .TV Sorry but they are all old and don't work . food really bad, breakfast you need to be the firts to arrive otherwise there won't be much. dirty blankets, check your mattresses, no protecto, so full of blood swet , and sex stains, some on pillows. nothing works properly, no one at the hotel after 23h, so if you have an emergency deal with it. Really far from beach or center, 20 min walk and bad road, dark at night no pavement. We are making a big complaint. There are better ones in the town, maybe a bit more expensive but proper hotels. This onevis a joke. Pretty outside, but hotel from horror inside.

Views were breathtaking, we had a room with the mountain view, we could not get enough of that. Hospitality was amaaaazing, and we really enjoyed our breakfast and dinner which was so plentiful. Unfortunetly when it came to drinks like juices or coffee, it was super bad. When it comes to downsides the problem is ROOMS. They are super old, dark, water is unstable, cleanless was no found. We had to wash our hair while being on our knees because they did not have the thingy to hang the shower head. The rooms were no cleaned, in two weeks we had only 3 times our room cleaned. We slept super bad due to the old matress and uncomfy bed. Outside pools were musty and not inviting. It is not suitable for people who has a walking issues since it is quite far from the beach. If I were do this again, I would come back only for views and food.

We were a little nervous about coming here as it has very mixed reviews. We needn't have been, it was lovely. We were first struck by the beauty of the place. Gorgeous rustic stone buildings and walkways, with beautifully planted flowers and trees, it reminded us of the 'first dates' hotel in Italy. Our room (18) was a 2 storey apar**ent. Ground floor sofa, table and kitchenette, with stairs to a large bedroom, bathroom and tiny balcony with fantastic mountain views. There are 2 nice sized pools with a few sunloungers and also a kids pool. The hotel is set on a farm, and it's a nice peaceful walk around looking at the rabbits, tortoises and ponies. The food is pretty good for a half board buffet. Breakfast is plentiful with everything you'd want including cereals, fruit, bacon, several different egg dishes, ham, cheese, breads and pastries. The coffee wasn't so good as it was from an urn, not fresh, nor is the fruit juice. Dinner is fish, meat dishes, vegetables, pasta, rice, chips, salads and a few cakes and ice cream. All pretty tasty. Drinks are charged extra, and bring cash to the restaurant as it needs to be paid for as you go, not put on your room bill. My only criticism would be that dinner is 7pm to 9pm. If you get there (as we did on the first night) about 8pm there's not much left and what is there is going a bit cold and dry. Maybe it was the fact that there weren't many guests that the food was not replenished, and I understand if they don't want to waste food. So my advice would be to get there when it opens. The other thing which put us off a little was they insist you wear a mask and plastic gloves in the restaurant. I understand the concerns over Covid, and they are just being very cautious, but for me this was a bit over the top. Staff is very friendly. There's nothing else in the immediate vicinity, but it's only a 15 minute walk into town and another 5 minutes to the lovely beaches and restaurants. All in. all great value for money and a lovely place to spend a few days.

Le cadre était joli, mignon, la chambre était proche de l'artère principal du village. Etablissement calme. Petit parking disponible gratuitement. Personnel aimable et souriant. Cependant, le buffet était vraiment médiocre. On a l'impression qu'ils essayent de faire des économies en prenant des produits pas vraiment qualitatifs. Nous avons eu une panne d'électricité pendant le séjour et le Wi-Fi n'est pas stable du tout (comptez une coupure internet toutes les 10 minutes) Fourmis dans le logement, qui est par ailleurs vétuste avec mobilier ancien. Panne d'eau chaude et manque de pression qui amène a ne plus avoir d'eau par moment. L'eau de la piscine est trouble, et celle ci manque clairement d'entretien. Climatisation défectueuse (Odeur de chaud dans la chambre, on a cru que ça allait prendre feu). Logement sombre et triste. 2e chambre très petite avec lit superposé et échelle dangereuse tellement ça manque de place, sans parler de la seule prise électrique situé à l'autre bout de la chambre sans aucun autre mobilier). Nous avons été très déçu et je ne recommande pas cet établissement. Bali est un emplacement parfait si vous venez en Crête la première fois car vous êtes à égale distance des points d'intérêts, mais aussi loin de ceux ci…. Nous avons vu de bien meilleurs établissements a Bali que celui-ci, passez votre chemin si vous souhaitez passez des vacances mémorables.

Ох, у этого отеля есть недостатки. Но я хочу в него вернуться, с той минуты, как уехала. Патриархальное, уютное и необычайно красивое место. Прохладные каменные домики, деревянная мебель, лимоны, бананы, инжир, оливы, цикады, горы вокруг. В общем, я очарована. Теперь о практическом. 1.Поселение и номер. Трансфер высаживает метров за 150 от отеля (в горку). Если учесть, что рейс задержали и мы провели в дороге фактически сутки, то первые минуты приятными не были. На ресепшине – никого (нормальная ситуация, каждый сотрудник выполняет по 4-5 функций, так что надо покричатьпоискать). Огромная амбарная книга, где посреди большой странницы ваша фамилия и номер комнаты. Нас было двое, потому дали однокомнатный номер с кухней (есть варианты семейных коттеджей, двухкомнатных апартаментов). Просторный номер, очень атмосферный, с деревянной мебелью и небольшой террасой с видом на горы и даже море. Кухня старая, воду кипятили в кастрюле, потому что чайник был не ок, из кровати выпадала доска (звать мастера было лень, просто ставили на место). Из серьезных недостатков лично для меня – горячую воду надо было ловить. То ли не хватает бойлера на весь домик, то ли еще что. Летом – не проблема, осенью, наверное – не так комфортно. В остальном: просторный санузел, холодильник, кондер, чистое белье, полотенца (меняли раз за неделю), посуда, чего не хватает, можно принести из столовой. Сейфа в номере нет (якобы, есть на ресепшене) и уборщицы открывают закрытую на два оборота дверь, а уходя, просто ее захлопывают (полоборота замка). В первый раз было странно, потом привыкли и забили. Еда. У нас был полупансион. Завтрак – стандартно и вкусно. 4 варианта жареных яиц, один – вареных. Полный набор на греческий салат, колбаса, сосиски, вкусный бекон. Арбузы, дыни и очень вкусные местные пончики. Ужин: Почти без проколов, практически все очень вкусно. Рыба, 2-3 блюда из мяса – обязательно. Вкусные овощные штуки. Ну и стандартные: фри, макароны, опять же набор на салат. Мороженное. Напитки все, кроме воды из кулера – платно. Расположение: Сначала была в шоке от того, как далеко море. Потом поняла, что не все так страшно. 10-15 минут по, в принципе, живописной местности. Рекомендую: на второй развилке, с которой уже непосредственно видно море, сразу и спускаться. Указатель пляжного клуба Baboo вам в помощь. Во-первых - самый пологий спуск, читай: подъем. Во-вторых, попадете на самый пустынный пляж Бали. Да, дно - камушки, лучше заходить в коралках. Но чисто и мало людей. Выбор – между этим самым Бабу и пляжем таверны Ливади. Мы отдыхали на последнем. Таверна – клад! Очень вкусно и красиво, обедали там почти каждый день. И при заказе хотя бы напитков – лежаки и зонт – бесплатно (на соседнем пляже 8-9 евро за два топчана и зонт). Подстилку тоже есть где постелить. Не понравится – левее – большой песочный пляж Ливади. И конечно, паровозик, который возит по всем бухтам Бали. (По направлению туда – остановка прямо возле поворота к нашему отелю. Назад, увы, туда не доезжает). К

Τα δωμάτια ήταν βρώμικα, μύριζαν μούχλα και οι τουαλέτες ήταν βρώμικες από τους προηγούμενους που έμειναν μέσα. Παρόλο που το προσωπικό ήταν πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει, η διοίκηση μας αντιμετώπισε πολύ άσχημα και υπεροπτικά. Και να φύγετε μας είπαν,θα το δώσουμε σε άλλους. Δεν έπρεπε,είπαν, να σας είχαμε κλείσει δωμάτιο. Πολύ άσχημη εμπειρία για μια οικογένεια που είχε κλείσει διαμονή συνολικής αξίας 1150 ευρώ. Ευτυχώς είδαμε νωρίς την κατάσταση και φύγαμε εγκαίρως. Απογοήτευση. Καμία σχέση με την κριτική φιλοξενία. Μακριά από τα συγκεκριμένα δωμάτια.

Nous avons séjourné durant 2 semaines au Stone Village avec nos deux filles de 7 et 11 ans.Nous remercions toute l'équipe qui est en place pour son bel accueil, il règne une belle ambiance familiale. Notre appartement était certe rustique mais tout à fait agréable, les pierres gardent une belle fraicheur et la clim était un plus ponctuel. Le buffet est varié et la cuisine très bonne avec des produits frais tant au petit déjeuné qu'au diner. Il y a 3 piscines, l'entretien est effectué de nuit et devrait être renforcé. L'accès à la plage se fait à pied par la route en 10 minutes, ou un petit train s'arrête également toutes les heures devant l'hotel et peut vous mener aux différentes criques de Bali pour quelques euros. Points faibles : wifi capricieux et pression d'eau et température d'eau très instable dans la salle de bain.
