Courtyard Gettysburg

We came for the Wine and Music Festival. Service was good but the cleanliness of the hotel was not good. We had a used washcloth left in the bathroom, crumbs and dirt in every corner and a pile of popcorn crumbs under the pull out couch. The hallways were hot and stuffy the next morning. I will say the gentleman at the front desk was very understanding when I showed him the pictures I took as proof.

From the moment we checked in, Charlene (? spelling) was so wonderful and very pleasant. Gave us map of area and list of suggested restaurants. She put us on the 5th floor upon telling her how we had an awful night at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Virginia Beach having almost no sleep due to noisy upstairs guests. She quickly put us in a quiet room so we can nap and wake up fresh for dinner. We slept sooo good. The beds, pillows, sheets and room were so comfortable. We had breakfast at the bistro and Paige was so professional, personable and attentive. We ended up staying another night and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. We let the housekeeper know we just need fresh towels. She did that but left all our soiled towels still piled on the floor! Didnt make our beds or pick up our trash. We were disappointed with the room coming back from a whole day soaking up sun and history. We love the area. Its quiet and close to shops and 5 minutes drive to historic downtown. We love Gettysburg and will stay here again, no doubt.

Great staff and room was nice. Vent in bathroom is a fire hazard though. Otherwise beautiful establishment.

The manager consistently goes above and beyond EVERY time we stay at the property. She deserves a HUGE RAISE/ PROMOTION!!

The pool is very small. Overall, a good experience. Quiet, staff is amazing. I had my kids with me and they liked it as well.

I did not spend much time at this hotel this time as I checked in late but my check in was very smooth and I got my keys in five min. The room was a bit outdated but was clean and nicely prepared. The lobby was very large with many chairs and sofas. The bar was also nice although I did not use it. I just got a cup of coffee in the morning (I had to pay for it. No free coffee, really?) I will use this hotel again. Thanks!

The property was actually nice, but it wasn't as clean as it could be. I spilled some water in the bathroom, and after wiping it up, the towel was grey from dirt. We ended up using "wipies" on every surface, just to be sure. Plates from room service were in the elevator lobby for 2 days. Nothing deal breaking, but hoped for better. This is also the second Courtyard I stayed at that offered Netflix on the TV (to log yourself in) and the second that the speed test failed and it could not log you in. Why offer it if it never works? It's more a pain that you try and fail than not have the option

I did not like the fact that there was no complementary breakfast in your hotel. Every hotel that I’ve ever been to, has always had a complementary breakfast. You would think that Marriott, being more upscale, would provide a complementary breakfast. I also did not like the fact, that there was no complementary tea or coffee. No travel size convenient toiletries or cups in the bathroom. The shower curtain was moldy. When I walked in, there was a funny smell in my room 303.
