Hotel Vasa, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is a family run comfy small hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located in a classic 19th century building in Vasastan on Viktoriagatan. We are conveniently located in the middle of Gothenburg and it´s close to everything. We have rooms for all occasions. A total of 51 rooms, from single, double or family rooms to mini suites. We also have rooms with jacuzzi. Our rooms are of good standard and are different in shape, color, décor and size. We offer a free waffle buffet every day between 16-21, where you can bake yourself some crispy waffles with jam and whipped cream. We are situated in the very heart of Gothenburg, a perfect location with everything within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants and cafés. Theatres, museums and universities. Cozy and convenient hotel at the center of the city. My room was old but adequately clean. The staff competent and friendly. Very good breakfast and some snacks available 24/7 free of charge. A good, value for money little hotel. I 'd book it again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, well kept hotel for a great price. Fantastic location. They have a place to see that offers teas, coffee, juices and snacks all day.
I was very impressed by the rooms as well. I'll definitely stay there again!

The hotel and staff were fantastic! The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and good for my vegetarian husband.
The street it's on has several bars which can be noisy with the windows facing the street open at night, but we were so tired from our sightseeing it didn't bother us at all.

I've stayed here a handful times over the years. This time I had one of the smaller rooms that consist of a bed and a renovated modern bathroom. Facing the busy street with trams outside which affected my sleep a little bit but not that much. You get what you pay for and I can't complain.
Don't forget to make your own waffles between 4 pm and 21 pm in the kitchen. They are free.

Looks pretty sketchy, you've got to use night bell (or wait for another tenant) to open the front door. The building is *old*, rooms are tiny, the door handle was half-broken, and they still use conventional keys instead of key cards.
On the flip side, bathrooms look renovated, and breakfast if fine.
