Hotel Savoy

Well, this is actually a quite boring review as we couldn't find anything which should be improved while staying in this superb location in Grado! It was our third time and still we enjoyed it a lot (and looking forward to the 4th stay!) - the friendly staff, beautiful location, great swimming pool and food and the hotel rooms are great and tidy! If you are in Grado staying in the Savoy is definitely a top high recommendation (mind the upper range budget requirment, though, but for everything which is offered and perfect, quite fair enough)

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, so definitely a recommendation if you want to stay in Grado! The pool with its salt water is big and perhaps only the number of limited deck chairs is worth to mention. But anyways, you are in Grado and should go to the beqch anyways, which is just a 5 min walk away. The hotel staff is super friendly and the breakfast buffet is marvellous! Enjoy your trip!

Das Hotel Savoy ist sehr gut geführt und sicher zur Zeit das 1. Haus in Grado. Eingangsbereich und die renovierten Zimmer sind top, die älteren Zimmer sind noch gut im Schuss, aber leider veraltet. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen ist ganz gut, allerdings entspricht es keinen 5 Sternen. Das Personal und der Service sind top und sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste! Auch das Hallenbad mit Meereswasser ist in der kühleren Jahreszeit angenehm, leider ist der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Dampfbad In die Jahre gekommen. Ein Pluspunkt erhält der hoteleigene Parkplatz!

Sono ormai 10 anni che soggiorniamo almeno una settimana all'anno in questo stupendo Hotel. È tutto perfetto,pulizia, cordialità, simpatia.Prnazo e cena con portate gustosissime e ricercate.Colazione be...da provare. Essendo un 5 stelle i costi sono un po' cari,ma una settimana ne vale la pena. La piscina è una favola...

Ci siamo stati ben 3 volte in questo hotel e presto ci torneremo! Hotel vicino alle spiaggia di Grado e non troppo distante dal centro. Piscine ottime con acqua tiepida ideale per l’estate tra l’altro molte sdraio intorno alle piscine. Le piscine offrono anche materassini, braccioli, tavolette, tubi … persone simpatiche e cortesi. Cena molto buona menu che cambia ogni giorno . Camera bella pulita che offre vari servizi . Colazione di tutti tipi. Ottimo hotel!

Ich war zum Bridge spielen 5 Tage im Hotel Savoy in Grado. Das Hotel ist jeden Stern wert. Mein Einbettzimmer in Richtung Lagune war neu, zweckmäßig und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten Halbpension und die Küche bekommt extra 4 Sterne. Im familiär geführten Hotel bemerkt und spürt man die Liebe zum Gast. Das Frühstück war einem mit 4Sternen S bewerteten Haus würdig. Wenn ich in Grado bin, dann nur in diesem Haus.

Zu den positiven Dingen zuerst: es ist ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel in guter Lager mit freundlichem und sehr bemühtem Personal, das vor allem von seinen Stammgästen lebt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber und auch das restliche Haus (Pool etc) ist immer gut gepflegt. Seit Jahren (teilweise Jahrzehnten) kommen wir mit der Familie ins Savoy, das hat mittlerweile schon Tradition. Seit mehreren Jahren sind nun auch einige vegetarische Gäste bei unseren Urlauben dabei. Ich denke, dass es in einem 4*S Hotel möglich sein sollte, auch gute vegetarische Varianten beim Abendessen anzubieten. Leider enttäuscht uns das Essen jedoch immer wieder aufs Neue. Die Krönung des schlechten vegetarischen Angebots war heuer ein „Hauptgericht“ welches aus Pommes, Barbecuesauce und 3 Stück gegrillten ungewürzten Paprika bestand. Zu einem anderen Abendessen gab es als Hauptspeise einen Berg voll Humus auf dem Teller, ohne jegliche Beilage oder Brot. Es gibt in der italienischen Küche so viele gute vegetarische Speisen, da braucht es wirklich nicht solche unbeholfenen und geschmacklich schlechten Versuche. Das ein Hotel mit beinahe 5Sternen im Jahr 2022 (in einen kulinarisch so tollen und vielfältigen Land wie Italien) es nicht auf die Reihe bekommt auch gute vegetarische Gerichte anzubieten, enttäuscht uns mittlerweile sehr.

L'Hotel si trova in una posizione ideale a Grado, al di fuori del centro storico (per cui si puo' evitare di chiedere permessi per il transito), ma comunque vicino sia al centro stesso che alle spiagge (10 minuti a piedi). Inoltre è in una zona non particolarmente trafficata sia da pedoni che da auto per cui non ci sono rumori. E' dotato di un piccolo giardino e di una piscina (sia coperta che all'aperto), in mezzo ad altri palazzi. Ha a disposizione alcuni posti spiaggia a poca distanza e posti auto in un parcheggio adiacente (non controllato e non coperto). Grado è un posto tranquillo, adatto a tutte le età (ma soprattutto famiglie), con clientela prevalentemente tedesca/austriaca e italiana. La spiaggia è bella e pulita, purtroppo non posso dire lo stesso del mare che, almeno quando abbiamo soggiornato noi, era sporco e pieno di alghe (e infatti facevamo il bagno nella piscina dell'albergo). Ho dato 3 (nella media) facendo appunto la media di varie voci. Ci sono cose molto apprezzabili ed altre a mio parere da migliorare. 1) la piscina (che contiene acqua salata di mare depurata) è molto bella, ha anche una vasca idromassaggio all'aperto e un servizio bar/pranzo. L'albergo fornisce teli spiaggia cambiandoli ogni giorno. Voto 4. 2) La colazione è eccezionale, sia come dolce che salato (voto 4), non cosi' purtroppo le cene. Manca una selezione di antipasti a buffet (c'è quella delle insalate), i piatti sono troppo "turistici" e pensati per la clientela Tedesca (mi sarei aspettato anche piu' scelta di pesce), voto 2 da migliorare 3) Prezzi: a mio parere eccessivi: una bottiglia di acqua da 50 cc costa 4 euro quando al superermercato la trovi a 30 centesimi. Va bene guadagnare, pero' non siamo in Costa Smeralda. Voto 2, vanno sicuramente abbassati. 4) Camere: sono pulitissime (il personale passa almeno 2 volte al giorno), ma sono un po' "datate" (stile anni 70, con una moquette ed una tappezzeria che non si possono proprio vedere). Andrebbero rimodernate (come è stato fatto per i bagni) e inoltre suggerisco di fare l'abbonamento TV al pacchetto Sky (come in tutti gli hotel 4 stelle). Voto 3. 5) Personale: il fiore all'occhiello dell'Hotel. Sempre gentili e disponibili, sempre sorridenti. Voto 5 ma solo perchè questo è il massimo di Tripadvisor, meriterebbero tutti 10. Non fateveli scappare !
