On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist with long curly hair, he was fantastic and always had a smile on his face and very friendly, our room was situated at zone 2 which was fantastic as it was on the ground floor and perfect access to the pool bar, buffet restaurant, children’s splash park and 2 bigger pools, it’s what to expect for a all exclusive hotel, the food wasn’t great, (it was Scandinavian season) they catered manly towards them, food was usually cold and pretty much the same every night, there is a “Italian” restaurant which was awful, food cold and the same as the buffet restaurant, Snack bar - good hotdogs, poor quality burgers and cold pizza Drinks - for someone like myself I was pretty happy with the selection of drinks, beer of choice was Amstel which I enjoy, machine cocktails that were actually really nice (especially the tequila sunrise) Animation team - they were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole holiday, always smiling and getting people up dancing and playing games throughout the day, my daughter throughly enjoyed the the minidisco at night time Other than the poor food I couldn’t fault the hotel, always there to help if need anything Will definitely be back in the future as we all had a fantastic time

Firstly this would be a 5* review but I feel the food lets it down & that is my only complaint from our whole stay & even then it’s not really a complaint it’s more of a personal dislike. When we first arrived the receptionist (a man with long curly hair) was so helpful and friendly. Our 1st room wasn’t suitable and there was a little confusion around rooms but this was all sorted without any push back or issue, he actually couldn’t have sorted the issue any better! The hotel staff from the cleaners, groundskeepers, bar staff, receptionists & especially the entertainment team are 10/10 - the entertainment staff are probably one of the best I’ve experienced especially with children. There was always something going on round the pool. The effort at the kids disco is brilliant! They really made my children’s stay brilliant (5y and 1.5y). You also have the choice of quieter pools if you don’t like the noise during the day! The splash park is brilliant especially for younger kids, the pools are freezing but that didn’t stop anyone. The hotel is in a residential area but there is still plenty within walking distance (holidayworld for food and things for kids to do & a supermarket for more places to eat) for livelier places taxis are between €5-€10 and easily accessible & a spar basically across the road for everything you’d need. Our towels were changed almost daily expect once, our room was immaculate. The pool area and dining area are immaculate, I can’t fault the cleanliness of the whole hotel actually. Like I say the food was pretty basic, one of our party was a vegetarian and unless you like mushy vegetables there wasn’t much choice for them bar cold salad. It was all quite bland & samey but again food is not to everyone’s personal taste, lunch was probably the best each day. The snack bar is a brilliant feature my little boy basically lived off the burgers! I can’t complain about the drinks either there was always something for everyone. Overall I can’t really fault the hotel, if we could’ve we would’ve stayed longer! I’d definitely return for a longer stay, it was a great first holiday for both my children, I can’t sing the entertainment staffs praises enough they were fantastic. If we ever visit Gran Canaria again this is the hotel we would stay in!!

The welcome from the animators was magnificent, the activities were entertaining and with many smiles, the animators knew us very well. The treatment of all the members of the hotel team was great, the food was good and the shows at night were excellent
