Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Prairie Southwest

Honestly great price location and very clean

I was in town for a concert at ATT stadium. My room was clean and I did fine (safety-wise) as a solo traveler. Check-in was quick and easy.

It was horrible, my room was suppose to be non smoking but you can smell all the smoke from next door, the people next door was so loud until after 2am so we could not sleep!

Very spacious rooms and the closet in the room I was in was almost the size of a separate bedroom

The front desk attendant was on his literal first day with NO assistance, and there was an extreme language barrier. Check-in took twice as long as it should have under the circumstances. Maid service attempted to enter the room without consent or warning (and without knocking, I might add) over two hours before check out. We have had good experiences here before, but this was chocked full of annoyances that could have been avoided.

Room was comfortable and clean, close to events and restaurants, easy travel. Only issue was our window on ground floor could NOT LOCK. That was uncomfortable feeling. Turned issue into front desk.

The location was convenient. Our room was clean, but they missed food in the refrigerator from previous guests. They corrected this quickly. It was quiet for the most part, except for the trash truck at 3am, not 20 ft from our room. For the first 4 days there was a smoker in another room and the smoke smell would stink up our bathroom if we did not turn on the exhaust fan (which is extremely loud). Having gas, a Sonic, and Aldis within walking distance was a huge plus. The breakfast at the hotel was minimal, but IHOP and Waffle House are not far. Personally, the gray tones in our room made it feel gloomy and depressing to me. One wall of color would go a long way. The bed and pillows were top notch, which is always the most important point, and the wall color didn’t matter when the lights were out. The staff was very kind and polite, very accommodating. Location and price made it a great value.

This property is located in a really nice spot. All the fast food chains are within two minutes by car. There’s a Kroger grocery store across the street as well as a Walgreens and Aldi’s nearby. Walmart and Sam’s Club are a few minutes away. It’s also a five minute drive to the Premium Outlet Mall. It was a busy place and I didn’t like being on the backside of the building but I would stay here again.

The room we stayed in had dirty/stained sheets. There was also some kind of sticky stuff left on the nightstand which I had to clean up. Also The faucet knob was broken.
