Adonis Grandcamp - les Isles de Sola

Bonjour, Nous venons pour la 5ème fois, le personnel est très à l'écoute des clients, établissement propre, appartement propre, nous avions pris le petit déjeuner, rien à redire. Seul bémol, pour garer la voiture dans l'établissement sachant qu'il y avait très peu de logement occupé ce jour là, 7 Euros la nuit. Je trouve que cela fait un peu cher même si tout augmente. A par cela je garde un bon souvenir de notre passage. mesdames et messieurs vous pouvez aller garer votre voiture au port. Claudine et Daniel

This is an excellent self catering site, close to the town and supermarket. The facilities were spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly. You need to book local restaurants, lovely crepes by the sea. Very close to the WW2 landmarks and museums.

We came here with a whole group of students. The students had a blast and we all slept very well. The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, and the women working there were very welcoming and nice. Our tour company had ordered terrible meals but that has nothing to do with Adonis Grandcamp. Those of you complaining about their meals have to talk directly to their tour company. When they saw our students’ frustration (and ours), the owner decided to serve us a wonderful breakfast with ham, cheese, bread, croissants, and much more. I recommend 100%. I would actually love to come back on my own.

After an early morning departure from London, a 6 hour ferry ride, and another nearly 2 hours of bus from Caen, we arrived at Grandcamp-Maisy quite tired. Our tour director had our room keys available and we headed to find our rooms. It was worth the search. Very large apar**ent-style room with a modern kitchen, living-room, separate bedroom, and slightly larger than normal bathroom. Very comfortable and attractive. The separate bedroom was a bit small; very little room to maneuver around the bed, but comfortable and manageable for a single occupant. Just a five minute walk to the beach. The Maisy battery, if you're interested in WWII sites, is not too far away, either. Breakfast was the usual buffet-style offerings, but there were plenty of options and all the food was fresh. There was a minimal staff in January, but we managed to do just fine. A very nice place.

The place was fine and spacious. Full kitchen. Paying for parking was no something we expected. But for one night it was no big deal.

Very basic room, you have to pay extra for everything. We had ground Floor Apar**ent. It vas damp and smelled mold, especially one bedroom was smelle and hard to brearhe in. Should have four nights here, but left after one.

After whole day travel and delays on our side, we arrived middle of the night at this location, unfortunately, as we tried to call their night customer support, we got lack of support. The person was quite rude and hang up on us then after many many phone calls, our calls NEVER got answered… we went and found another hotel as we could not get in. Awful experience while traveling with 3 kids, rain, middle of the night. The next day, sharing our experience, the management of this place did not show any empathy either. Quite disappointed to travel that far to visit the area to get this type of customer support.

Was a crash pad on a cycling trip. The space for bike I didn’t feel secure. The pedestrian gate which was meant to be locked was open much of the time. Carried it up to my room

The first apar**ent we had was not great and was not like the ones had stayed in previously due to potential issues with the drains. However, thanks to ******* and the reception at the apar**ents they moved us to another apar**ent in the same complex which was not only bigger but far nicer and our stay was very much enjoyable from then on. Although its quite far out from other areas, the overall area is really nice with only being 15/20 min drive away from the Normandy museum & memorial, as well as Omaha Beach.
