I am usually not one to "flame" an establishment when reviewing. I'm sharing this, though, so that maybe others are saved from a similar experience.
1.) Items in the room were broken, in terrible shape or worked incorrectly. Lamp that was probably the most critically placed blinked like an emergency light. Chair was so eaten up that it left it's residue on my shirts.
2.) The entire hotel's walls, outside of the room, were in a state of repair...all wallpaper removed, door frames leaning against their doors, looked terrible. This would have been fine if there was a "pardon our dust" kind of sign. I did not see one.
3.) Worst of all, the shower was a DISASTER. It only went from scalding hot to ice water cold...no in between. Believe me, I tried for 4 days to carefully tap out a happy medium. This room had no "warm". Heck, it had no "hot". It only had "scalding hot" or "ice cold". It would take a minute or so to get to that scalding or freezing temperature, and I had to get my shower in while it was on its way to the extreme. BUT, I believe if someone used water nearby, it would arrive at that extreme instantaneously.
This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had...and I used to travel for work 3 out of 4 weeks a month. I've stayed in places literally half the cost and had better experiences.
