Stayed due to dance competition in the area. Upon check-in, we were given a room on the first floor. Initially it appeared nice. Newly updated and even had a lemony clean smell to it. However, within minutes I noticed a huge dark colored stain in the middle of the duvet. Then upon pulling the curtains back, their were two dead bugs on the floor. Thought it was due to the windows, but then I saw a dead bug by the desk. Immediately got out of there and demanded a new room. Once we got into the new room (on the first floor again), I inspected. While there were no bugs, I noticed the duvet on one bed had huge white stains and the fitted sheets on the other were stained. Hotel offered to refund and claimed their linens are serviced by a third party. Clearly issues with the third party but also housekeeping staff that put the linens on and left them there despite visible issues. Since we were in a pinch and everything in the area was booked as well, we stayed. However, they had housekeeping change our sheets, and the worker was soooooo nice that he brought us brand new linens fresh out of the packaging. I inspected the mattress to make sure no signs of bugs, and everything was fine. Mattress was too firm for my personal liking. Shower ******. It was warm... Never hot even though it was turned up. We've stayed there once before and the only issue we had was the hallways smelling if ****. Nothing like this. But never again!!!
