City Note Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Subway Station)

During my recent stay in Guangzhou, I chose a hotel near Beijing Lu, a bustling area known for its abundance of shopping shops and food restaurants. While the location offered convenience and vibrancy, there were a few aspects of my experience that left something to be desired. Firstly, the hotel's proximity to Beijing Lu was indeed a highlight. Being surrounded by a myriad of shopping options and delectable eateries added an exciting dimension to my stay, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture and cuisine effortlessly. However, despite the bustling atmosphere outside, the ambiance within the hotel room was somewhat compromised. There was a noticeable smell emanating from the sewage hole in the bathroom, which detracted from the overall comfort of the accommodation. This issue was particularly unpleasant and marred an otherwise pleasant stay. Furthermore, the noise from the nearby eateries persisted late into the night, disrupting my sleep. It seemed that the lively atmosphere of the area continued well past midnight, with sounds echoing into the early hours of the morning. For guests seeking a peaceful night's rest, this may prove to be a significant drawback. Regarding the breakfast offered by the hotel, I found it to be rather simple. While it provided a sufficient start to the day, the lack of variety and sophistication left something to be desired. Guests looking for a more indulgent breakfast experience may feel somewhat underwhelmed by the options available. In conclusion, while the hotel's location near Beijing Lu undoubtedly offers a vibrant and dynamic experience, there are areas where improvements could be made. Addressing issues such as the unpleasant odor in the room and implementing soundproofing measures to mitigate noise disturbances would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, expanding and elevating the breakfast offerings could further elevate the hotel's appeal to discerning travelers.

Overall having a good stay with comfortable bed, pillows, towel changing daily, just the toilet glass door can see through which I think no privacy. Hopefully the hotel management will do something improvement for the toilet. Surrounding hotel area plenty of food, short walking distance to Beijing lu Metro which can cut through via tian he cheng shopping mall. The only male staff which I realised he always on night duty was super friendly and patient attending each request or enquiries. THUMBS UPPPP... Overall, friendly hotel team, thks for everythings, we are very sastified along our stayed with City Note Hotel Beijing road.

Staying on my to stay accommodation list for Guangzhou for next visit. Great location, awesome staff members, free flow of coffee throughout day and night, simple breakfast and supper and also nice cookies for tea break! There's a supermarket opposite the hotel! Plenty of eateries around as well Just bring the following if you would like more privacy when using the bathroom/toilet as the screen is quite transparent - newspaper & sticky tape 😊 Remember to visit the staircase... Very cute deco 😊

It is located near the walking street, food street. Everything within reach. The room is compact and trendy. The bed is comfortable. The hotel provides complimentary supper also. Comes with simple porridge and snacks. The service is warm and polite, especially the front staff lady. I would recommend this hotel.

Location is good and hotel is generally clean and new. Service is alright but they seem to be short of staff at night.

We stayed for 2 nights here. We got a smart room where we do not have to use the key card to activate the room's electricity. However, it took us sometime to figure out how and with the help of the staff. The staffs are very friendly and seems like it is run by young people. The toilet in the room is also very strange, not the typical toilet. The glass door is shared between the toilet and the shower screen. The basin is located at the bed area. I personally do not like the toilet. It is also a street away from the Beijing Road walking street and many eateries around the vicinity. The hotel breakfast were also good although its the same menu for the 2nights we're there. They even provide supper (i.e fruits and maggie noodles). For breakfast menu, do try the noodles soup and soy bean drink. The only downside to this hotel is its soundproofing. If your room is facing the streets, be prepared that it gets very noisy even past 10pm at night. There's even loud music coming off from the push carts downstairs. Suggest to get ear plugs from the reception if you're a light sleeper. It took me sometime to get used to the sound and sleep through the noise. I will only recommend this hotel if you're planning to spend more time at Beijing Road walking street. Or if you like the bustling night life.

Very convenient location in the middle of the pedestrian streets and accessible to exit of different subway lines. Lots of sightseeing spots within walking distance. Excellent breakfast with variety of fusion food sufficient to fill hungry stomach; complimentary cocktails at the bar for consumption until midnight. Friendly and helpful staff!

The hotel location is very strategic, opposite and across Beijing lu. Renovation is modern, just the toilet is quite open, which covered by curtain and you can see through the toilet bowl from the glass door, which is not convenient and no privacy . The basin is not inside toilet, so the toilet has limited space and no space to hang clothes. The outside hotel is a bit noisy due to there are dining restaurant downstairs. Other than that, the hotel is very good, staff service is good, breakfast is simple and nice.
