Metropolis Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Renhe Subway Station)

Make do place with a free airport pickup. Ideal for one or two nights. .. If you love street food, they have many places open till late in the night.

Good location if you need to spend one night near the airport, but the service need to improve a little bit.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying the night in Guangzhou to get a connecting flight the next day. And the reason is, the hotel transfers are incredible. At very short notice and very late on a Sunday night I was able to get picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel for a few hours sleep, before they took me back to the airport for my very early flight the next day. Excellent service !!!! And the rooms were clean and modern. I was very impressed.

Incomplete buffet in breakfast, water leakage from washroom and coming nearby the bed, no view out side the window just a wall of adjacent building.

The location of the hotel is close to Renhe metro station and to many local restaurants and supermarket. The food stalls open from the evening until the early hours of the money so there are plenty to eat nearby. I found the location close to many of the places I wished to visit and would recommend the area to visitors, plus it is a short drive to the airport. I arrived early hours and stayed another hotel before booking Metropolo on the same morning. The receptionist on the day was friendly and accommodated for me to check in prior to the check in time. She was also friendly and helpful with organising my shuttle bus to the airport for my departure. One of the con is the cleanliness of the hotel was okay. I felt comfortable enough for the duration of my stay but felt certain areas of my room could be cleaned more thoroughly (I chose a queen size bed room). Another con is that although I asked for my room to be made up on the day, some of the disposable items were not replaced leaving me short of cotton buds. Overall, I found the hotel to be pretty average. It’s not the worse hotel but believe the hotel was more of a 3* standard rather than a 4*. I would recommended and stay again as the hotel was cheap (but not for cheap for local currency standard).

最近比較懶，好久沒有寫點評了，這家原本盲選為趕第二天早班飛機的酒店給了我超預期。我以為靠近機場會很冷僻，想不到地鐵出來100米過個馬路往小巷子裏面走一點點。酒店對面有大型商場，沿街也很熱鬧，晚上十點半我還到對面去喝茶，街上全是人。酒店設施很新，前台有點普通但進了房間還是很驚艷的，面積大，各種設施設備齊全，特別是床頭燈是聲控的，晚上起來上廁所衹要手一擺燈就亮了。衞生間很大，連針線和刮鬍刀都有，這哪怕是現在某些五星級也沒這麼齊全。第二天送機前台會提前電話提醒司機也很負責。就是訂的大床房帖了張紙説開窗要聯繫前台，我入住的時候自己可以開窗但沒有紗窗，廣州的蚊蟲還是很厲害的都不敢開窗。總之很滿意，比市區裏酒店的性價比高很多。
